The “Hentai” Prince and the Stony Cat anime green-lit

The “Hentai” Prince and the Stony Cat anime green-lit

The official Twitter account for the MF Bunko J imprint’s 10th Anniversary Summer School Festival confirmed on Sunday that an anime adaptation of Sou Sagara’s The “Hentai” Prince and the Stony Cat (Hentai Ōji to Warawanai Neko) light novel series has been green-lit. The announcement was originally made at the grand finale of the festival on the same day.

The story centers around a second-year high school boy named Yōto Yokodera. Yōto is always thinking about his “carnal desires,” but no one acknowledges him as a pervert. He learns about a cat statue that supposedly grants wishes. The boy goes to pray that he will be able to express his lustful thoughts whenever and wherever he wants. At the statue, Yōto encounters Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi, a girl from his high school with her own wish — that she would not display her “real intentions” so readily.

Sagara launched the light novel series last year with illustrations by Kantoku, and Media Factory will publish the sixth volume next month. Okomeken provides art for the manga adaptation that launched in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine last year, and the manga has two volumes of its own so far. Digital Manga licensed the manga for North American release starting this October.

Haganai anime gets second season

Haganai anime gets second season

The official Twitter account for the Haganai (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai) school comedy anime confirmed on Sunday that production on a second television season has been green-lit. The announcement was originally made during the Haganai stage event at the MF Bunko J imprint’s 10th Anniversary Summer School Festival on the same day.

Yomi Hirasaka and Buriki’s original Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai light novels revolve around Kodaka (Ryohei Kimura) — a half-Japanese/half-British transfer student whose delinquent-like blonde hair and fierce eyes scare people — and a seemingly perpetually sullen girl named Yozora (Marina Inoue). The two decide to form Rinjinbu, a club for misfits with hardly any friends.

Funimation and the video-streaming service Niconico announced in October that they would stream Haganai as it aired in Japan. The two companies then began streaming the series later that month. Funimation has since announced that it acquired the broadcast, home entertainment, merchandising, mobile, and streaming rights, with DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases specifically planned.

Campione! episode 04

Hmm, okay… Good episode, very good. However, I have mixed feelings about it. It feels like things ended a bit too easily. Things looked so hard before, yet everything seemed to go pretty smoothly during the end, as though everything was already planned out by the protagonist. Ah hell, I’m probably imagining things.

The story continued with Godou trying to defeat a goddess, Athena. Keep in mind that the goddess in question delivered a humiliated defeat to Godou. The guy didn’t stand a chance without that shiny sword of his. That is why Athena was able to do as she pleased and obtain that very special item, allowing her to become “complete”.

Things seemed really, really bad. Athena had become more powerful than ever. Her possibilities were endless with no one in sight that was capable of defeating her. Even Yuri could chant all she wanted to, but none of it seemed even remotely effective.

Sigh, that’s when Godou showed up, started babbling about whatnot and materialized that shiny sword of his. It seemed difficult at first, and her way of speaking (typical old Greece to English dialect) didn’t make things much easier either. Still, Godou managed to get her to her knees with the use of his sword and the lance plus information provided by Erica.

I know I’m sounding a bit negatively, which probably makes me seem a bit demotivated, but nothing could be further from the truth. I like the story and what it has to offer, but I just think that things went a bit too easily. I did like it when Godou let Athene live though. It’s probably one of the unique traits that sets him apart from other Campione’s.

Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai episode 04

Oh, nuts. The story just took yet another interesting, yet I’m getting more and more annoyed by Lisara’s ignorance. How can she be so blind? She still spent most of her time looking for that “special specimen”, when in actuality she already has a contract with him. Women…

So Iria joined the big picture, how amusing. Who doesn’t like a (fake) big-breasted girl that pretends to be the cutest little thing ever? Well, Lisara for one didn’t like it. Those two have been rivals ever since their school days, and I doubt that that’s about to change any time soon. Still, Iria has set her sights on the big prize; Ryosuke. She knows what he’s really capable of, how he gets his energy and why he can ‘unleash’ it multiple times a day. That’s why she became so interested in him ever since she saw what he’s capable of. Not just her too. Even Quele has been keeping an eye on him, as she too has become interested.

One thing is clear; there are people after Lisara and her boy toy. They have been watching her for some time. It was only a matter of time, but it finally happened. Lisara got attacked openly and it’s only a matter of time before the one behind it shows up. I think it’ll take another episode or two though. Lisara probably needs more time to realize that she’s already found her special someone.

The anime god a whole lot weirder, that’s for sure. Yet another character has joined the ranks and Ryosuke managed to take that whole perversion thing to a whole new level. He makes protagonists like Taro (MM!) and Taleto (R-15) look like innocent little boys. That’s just badass!

Natsuyuki Rendezvous episode 04

Why? Why did this happen? The relationship between Rokka and Ryuusuke was going so well. Now it seems as though things aren’t going anywhere, ever. Rokka-chan is a lovely girl, really, but she’s still living in the pass, which makes moving forward a lot harder for her. Poor girl…

So Ryuusuke took Rokka to that theme park, the same theme park that she visited with Atsushi when he was still alive. The opportunity was golden. It was a beautiful day, the park wasn’t too crowded and there were no jealous ghosts whatsoever. So yeah, Ryuusuke had the perfect opportunity. However, he screwed up. He was too busy thinking about these stupid traditions, not to mention the fact that he actually asked Rokka for sex. I was astonished. Out of nowhere he looked her in the eyes and asked her if she wanted to have sex with him. The guy has lost it.

It came as no surprise to me that nothing happened. They held hands like little teenagers as they walked all over the place. Absolutely no progress, not even when they went home again. The only thing that happened, which I wouldn’t be able to call positive, was when Ryuusuke returned to Rokka’s shop drunk, where he actually agreed to let Atsushi take over his body.

I’m not sure I want to watch the next episode. Atsushi is a very jealous and selfish person. He doesn’t want Rokka to be with anyone else but him, which is probably why he’s going to stay inside Ryuusuke’s body in order to be with Rokka-chan. I wouldn’t be surprised at all. God, I am really nervous. It’s taking a lot of willpower to leave the manga alone at this point.
