Campione! episode 13

I knew that this was the final episode, but I still checked several sources to see if I was right. It had truly been a straight journey. I just can’t help but wonder what the point of it all was. Let’s face it; this wasn’t much of an ending, was it? It feels as though we’ve only seen half of it.

The story ended with a win for Godou. Although he needed the help of all his friends, including a god, in order to defeat Athena’s mother, I still cannot help but feel that it’s strange. The story behind it is pretty interested, but it’s strange that they decided to end it here. More importantly, what was with that unknown character at the ending? One cannot help but wonder if there’s going to be another season.

Let’s face facts here guys; nothing has been solved yet. There are still other Campione and Greek gods (most of whom we haven’t even met yet), plus the situation revolving around that ancient witch is still a bit too vague. What was her purpose at this point? There are just too many things left undone, so I wouldn’t be surprise if we hear something about a second season soon. If not; bad ending.

Binbougami ga! episode 13

What a shame. I really liked Binbougami Ga! This final episode, even though I’m in great pain due to my hand, managed to make me laugh out loud. The people here must’ve thought that I was miraculously healed or something. But no, the pain took over as soon as the episode ended.

I must say that I can’t acknowledge this as the final episode. I admit that I really enjoyed it, but there has to be more. Ichiko is still sucking up people’s fortune, Momiji still hasn’t finished her mission and the whole situation revolving around Keita and the girls. There are so many things left untold, so there has to be more in the near future. I’m sure of it.

Also, I was kind of surprised that Yamabuki didn’t show up during these final two episodes. Not that I’m disappointed or anything. This anime has been a delight, which is something I rarely say about slapstick comedies. To make me, someone that stops watching these types of comedy after the first episode, love this type of anime so much… I can only summarize it as incredible. I truly hope that there’s more to come. I wouldn’t mind another thirteen episodes.

Naruto Shippuuden episode 281

Some may not like it when I say this, but I honestly don’t feel like writing this post. Not because I am in great pain. It’s more because this episode, to me at least, was very insulting. Naruto Shippuuden is currently at a serious stage in the story, so I find it very insulting when I get surprised by an episode with nothing but pointless comedy in the middle of a serious part of the story. What a shame…

Let it be known that I’m a fan of Konohamaru. I think it’s a brilliant character with a lot of potential. My opinion of him has been like that since the beginning, since we saw his pathetic little ambush to kill his grandfather, the third Hokage. He was a boy then and still is to this day. He may be older, but his thought pattern is identical to young Naruto’s.

Anyway, it’s a shame that I wasted twenty minutes of my life watching a freak show circus (literally this time). The only thing that I did enjoy was when I saw Konohamaru use the Rasengan. It’s quite funny, seeing as he, if I saw it correctly that is, needs a close too to use the Rasengan, just like Naruto.

Sword Art Online episode 12

I’m afraid my posts will be very short for the next few days, as I have hurt one of my arms, rendering me unable to type properly. It’s really too bad, because there’s a lot that I want to say about this episode.

This episode made my week. I didn’t like it when Asuna and Kazuto gained a child like that. Be serious for once. I was especially happy when that girl turned out to be a malfunctioning program of Sword Art Online. It was a good thing too, as both their lives were saved thanks to her. It was a shame that she was deleted, but I’m pretty sure that it was for the best. I really didn’t like the thought of those two raising a virtual child. This type of story doesn’t allow for it. It’s supposed to stay interesting, dramatic and adventurous. That’s the way I know Sword Art Online.

Accel World episode 24

Seriously, what a great season this has been for anime fans such as me. Although Accel World seems to have ended (for the time being), I think that we can look forward to a lot more of these interesting stories. Stories about games and such seem to be really popular all over.  I personally think it’s because there are far more possibilities here. Stories about love, ghosts and sports are pretty limited when it comes to possibilities.

First and foremost; I would like to point out that I highly doubt that this is truly the end of Accel World. The point of this story was to follow a small group of characters trying desperately to reach level ten, the highest level a character could obtain in Accel World. This has not been done. Furthermore, some of their enemies have been left undefeated. Kuroyukihime swore to defeat that club of hackers during her school trip. Basically, what I’m trying to say is that nothing has actually been accomplished. The true purpose of this particular story has yet to be fulfilled, leaving me to believe that there’s more to come.

Secondly; I would like to join in on that whole Accel World versus Sword Art Online discussion that I’ve been seeing for the last couple of days. I honestly don’t think that you can compare the two. The only thing they have in common is that both stories revolve around a game. That’s it. Sword Art Online is more like Dot Hack, anime series where the characters got stuck inside of a game. Accel World is far more complicated than that. That game transcends logic. I mean, come on… We are talking about a story where the characters have the ability to mess with time. Sword Art Online isn’t like that at all. Both of these shows are great, period.

And finally; this episode left me with a lot of questions. It left me with a lot of mixed thoughts. It left me with the need to destroy something after I saw Nomi’s face at the end. I think it’s unfair that he can’t remember anything about Accel World. It would’ve been better if he had remembered, so that he could experience the same things that his victims did. It seems to me that he got off quite easily, and that is something I just can’t agree with. That is the only thing that I disliked about this episode. The rest was absolutely great and I will be looking forward to seeing even more of Accel World!
