Uwaa~! Nice episode, but this confirmed one thing; Satomi-chan is vital to this show. I already knew this from the very beginning, of course, but this episode definitely confirmed that. Keep rising ratings, keep rising…
Their festival had finally begun, and Yasaburou was just in time with that inner parlour that he borrowed from Satomi. His begging allowed for him, his family and even the old man to enjoy the festival from high up in the sky. That old man’s stubbornness never seizes to amaze, but Yasaburou has no difficulty in dealing with him; he knows exactly what to say and what to do to get the old man to play along. Still, it’s quite sad that the he had to lure him with booze and the promise of Satomi’s presence. I guess the road you pick doesn’t matter, as long as you get there, huh?
It came as no surprise that their festival would get interrupted by other Tanuki, the same family that picked on Yashirou. An all-out fireworks war broke out after Yasaburou’s flying tea room got attacked by incoming fireballs that originated from their uncles’ flying ship. I was kind of hoping for a scene where Yasaburou, just like his old man, transformed into something huge and whooped some Tanuki ass.
Anyway, it still pretty much revolves around Yasaburou and Satomi though. They make an excellent couple. Yasaburou will now have to run for his life after losing Satomi’s special fan, and it’s almost completely certain that Satomi will find him. I doubt that she will do anything to harm him though, she seems rather interesting in him. I just wish that there was a bit more romance.Read More
Oh my god… I cannot believe this actually happened. I imagined that I would see this episode near the very end, but it’s here! It’s here and we have a lot of episodes left to see! Please, may the heavens strike me if I’m wrong, but add just a little bit of romance. It works so well in this show…
I cannot believe Touma actually defeated Accelerator. Sure, Mikoto and a lot of her clones helped him along the way, but he was the one that did the damage and the one that delivered the final blow. The weakest officially defeated the strongest. Does this make Touma the strongest? No. Touma is Touma, a reliable guy with a strange personality.
Mikoto acknowledges his abilities, Accelerator now undoubtedly acknowledges his abilities, but the funny thing is that neither of them know what his abilities are. They are still in the dark. Only a few people probably know that he can cancel out any and all supernatural powers. I honestly think that that’s absolutely brilliant.
Oh well, the fight’s over and Mikoto has won, that is all that really matters right now. Touma defeated Accelerator, which means that the weakest defeated the strongest. This probably made Accelerator seem like a bad investment, which is probably the reason why they stopped the experiments. There will be no more clone killing for as far as they know.
I’m actually looking forward to the next episode after I caught a glimpse of Index, a girl that Touma looks after. I don’t know if Index is actually going to play a role now, but there are about eight episodes left and it seems as though the most important parts of the story have been resolved, so I cannot wait to see what happens next! Go love-love, go!Read More
Jeez, these last two years just flew by. I must say quite honestly that I never expected to keep this up for two whole years. The plan for restarting my anime blog was to blog about everything and nothing anime-related for a year or so and see what happens.
Today it’s been two years since I restarted this blog again and I have yet to look back. Blogging has helped me through a lot of hardships by allowing me to focus my attention elsewhere, like when I broke a little bone in my right hand…
Also, I never even dreamed of having thousands and thousands of visitors each day, not to mention the thousands of followers on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. This blog pretty much exceeded all my expectations.
Finally, I would like to thank all the people that visit my blog, that follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, and to those that take time out of their lives to write me an e-mail every now and again. Thank you all! May this blog flourish for yet another year!Read More
Oh damn… It’s about to get very hectic. I was halfway into the episode when I started thinking that not much was happening, but then it hit me… They obviously poured a lot of drama in this episode, ensuring that all the viewers see how much has been sacrificed to get to this point.
Yes, that’s right, something big is about to happen. You don’t normally focus on character deaths, fear and commitment, if you aren’t planning to show something very epic. They’re building up to something and I’m dying to find out what is it. I bet that Eren and commander Erwin are going to play a great role in this.
They specifically focussed on Eren’s friends this week. Most of them have joined the Recon corps and will be fighting side by side with Eren. They knew that fighting titans was madness in itself, but fighting alongside someone that transforms into a titan and more often than not fails to control it is even crazier.
What’s more; Mikasa does not like Levi. She saw how he nearly beat Eren to death during his day in court, which is something that she will probably never forget. This made me kind of curious about what would happen if those two were to fight it out. Levi is one hell of a fighter, nobody would ever disagree with that, but the same could be said for Mikasa. I can only hope that Levi crosses that line someday and forces her to attack.
Anyway, next week should be absolutely epic. Eren is somewhat free (as long as he stays within Levi’s field of vision), most of his friends joined him in his mission to reach his father’s basement, and they’ve all started their very first mission… Next week’s preview alone gave me Goosebumps like you wouldn’t believe.Read More
Not a great deal has happened during this episode, hmm? I must say that I expected a bit more action. I’m also getting a bit tired of those Sharon-recaps. We all know about her condition, no need to give us those recaps at the start of every episode.
It’s always nice to see that Mutta is doing well. He is slowly getting used to the old man’s schedule and I’m sure that it won’t take him much longer for him to master the rest. You could clearly see that he has improved, too. That scene where Mutta flew in-between those two jets really surprised the other ascans, proving that they aren’t as far along as Mutta is. I guess Mutta really is picking things up faster than the others, especially since it was only last week that he chickened out when he was told to fly in-between two jets. Our Mutta is finally growing up…
Mutta kind of took it hard when the old man announced his retirement. Mutta is to be his last trainee. It’s not all that surprising though… The man is quite old and it won’t be long before he will really need that wheelchair of his. Besides, you really don’t want crazy old men like that in the sky for too long…
I don’t know how many more episodes we will have to watch before Mutta and his friends pass, but I wouldn’t mind watching one more episode of it. I hope that they won’t milk this out, because I really can’t want another month of Mutta’s airborne afro. It’s interesting right now, but that will soon change if you see too much of the same thing.Read More
