Heavy Object episode 11

What a great episode! It annoys me to no end that Heavy Object, a consistent show with a lot of interesting content, is still receiving mediocre reviews after all this time. Heavy Object is one of the most consistent shows of this moment where the episodes are constantly entertaining and interesting.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 11 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_04.10_[2015.12.19_00.12.50]Noragami has let me down a bit, Shomin Sample has let me down big-time, but Heavy Object has been going strong ever since it started. In fact, I dare say that they’ve been doing everything right so far. A lot of unexpected twists, plenty of action, lots of information about the shows without it getting too predictable and I don’t think it’s going to stop any time soon.

Now, I know I’ve said that it’s usually the same thing; the boys get sent on some mission where they at one point end up having to take down an Object. That might be true, in a way, but it’s the same with a lot of other shows. Besides, it’s not too obvious. It’s not like they are sent straight into battle. Something unexpected usually ends up happening.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 11 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_17.25_[2015.12.19_00.11.59]This week it was this unknown, high-end Object that they still haven’t encountered. It managed to launch a ridiculously powerful attack that already nearly destroyed one Object and did quite a lot of damage to the princess’ Object. It almost took out two Objects in a short amount of time. It is almost impossible to defeat an opponent if you can’t even get close. That being said; I’m sure that Qwenthur has an idea to get the job done as long as Havia stops those murderous nut jobs from destroying that dam and killing all those innocent civilians.

Shomin Sample episode 11

I never thought I’d say this about Shomin Sample ever again, but this episode was actually pretty promising. Shomin Sample had gotten so dull lately that I had almost given up on it. I certainly didn’t expect this episode.

[Ohys-Raws] Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni 'Shomin Sample' Toshite Gets-sareta Ken - 11 (AT-X 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_09.39_[2015.12.17_23.29.03]We all know that they are basically creating a strange harem here. All the girls are pretty might fighting over the protagonist and he, being a complete idiot, doesn’t realize any of it (how cliché). That’s all fine. This has been going on for weeks and not a lot has change since. They all just hang around and try to learn more about the common world.

Now Reiko’s mother shows up with her brother to take her back home to help her get married off to another wealthy family. This might be the kick in the balls that’s necessary to make things interesting again. What will our protagonist do? Oh who am I kidding? We all know they’re all going after her in order to try and convince Reiko’s mother to let her daughter make her own life’s choices. And they will obviously succeed…

Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans episode 11

Okay, this was just way too predictable. I could’ve seen this coming from a mile away. Also, I think that their Gundam is way too weak. Gundams are iconic mobile suits with overwhelming power. Now it seems as though pretty much every any suit is capable of fighting it off if the pilot is good enough.

[HorribleSubs] Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron-Blooded Orphans - 11 [720p].mkv_snapshot_08.47_[2015.12.16_23.48.06]What I hate is how predictable it was this week. They focussed so much on family last week that that guy’s little brother was bound to show up sooner or later. Kind of disappointing that he showed up right away like this. I mean, they get attacked by pirates for the very first time soon after resuming their quest and that little brother of his happens to be one of them? Come on… Don’t cheap out on the story. Make it a little bit harder. I mean, we all know that Orga and the rest are going back there to save him and probably the rest of the ‘human debris’ and they’ll obviously succeed.

I won’t circle around it; I am still hoping for other Gundam suits. This one is rather disappointing since it doesn’t seem to be all that powerful, even though power is one of the most noticeable trademarks of Gundam suits. I haven’t seen that much of a difference between the tuned up version and the pre-tuned up version.

I still don’t like the idea of Tekkadan being part of that group. They have very little to gain from it. I was thinking that maybe they did it because of that princess and whatever influence she has, but surely that can’t be it? It can’t be those kids either. They didn’t even have the firepower to fight off those pirates without getting backup.

Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen episode 11

Well, I am certainly glad that this kidnapping nonsense is finally over. That cocky princess definitely needed a good slapping. At least now we can move on to more interesting things (I hope).

[HorribleSubs] Utawarerumono - Itsuwari no Kamen - 11 [720p].mkv_snapshot_21.01_[2015.12.15_23.42.00]That stupid red-head didn’t realize that she had kidnapped the kingdom’s princess until it was already too late. By then she could think of nothing else than to run away for dear life. I definitely would have even if that little princess tried to convince me otherwise. Who cares about honour? Honour’s useless when you’re dead.

I honestly see no added value in having that red-head join the party. I don’t even care about Haku watching over them for now on. Other than a few ‘fortunate accidents’ I see no real positive side right now. I might be wrong, but I would rather see a bit more of Kuon’s ‘mothers’ or another battle with those insects or something.

Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya episode 10

The biggest Seraph of the End event this week was definitely Funimation’s screw up by releasing an episode with improper audio. Having an uneventful episode is one this was just not worth the wait in my opinion.

[Ohys-Raws] Owari no Seraph 2 - 10(22) (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_18.54_[2015.12.14_23.39.55]Almost the entire episode was dedicated to the reunion between Yuuichirou and Mikaela. All they did was talk and exchange info that we already knew. We learned very little during this week’s episode. Maybe only that the humans’ new weapon might just be another ‘family’ member of theirs.

Oh, yeah, and Mikaela has become a true vampire by sucking Yuu-kun’s blood. I find that concept vague. He was a vampire to begin with. He was drinking the blood of his vampire queen and already had an immortal body. What’s different (other than the colour of his eyes)? The urge to drink blood? That’s always been there since he changed. Really… An entire episode just for that?
