Now this was a good episode. Although Qwenthur managed to complete his mission with a little bit of help from Havia and the princess, we all know that the boys will get sent out again in a week or two after they get caught being pervs again.
So good ‘ol blondy managed to infiltrate the enemy Object in order to hold their elite, a no-cup girl, hostage with his little knife. This would’ve been a good plan if it was under normal circumstances. We finally learned why only a select few people are capable of piloting those Objects. It’s fine when those things are just standing still, but, apparently, when they are moving it’s as though you’re being shot out of a canon. The body is under so much pressure that maintaining consciousness is a challenge in itself.
I thought it was pretty funny how Qwenthur managed to manipulate that no-cup elite into thinking that her own people didn’t care whether she lived or died and that they really only cared about the A.I. that helped control that Object. It’s because of his smooth-talking that she ended up ejecting, thereby bringing victory to his beloved princess.
A few things are certain here. We know that we’ll get to see more of that no-cup elite soon enough. Probably next week even. We also know that the boys will get caught doing something naughty again and that they will end up getting sent to another battlefield with another Object to defeat. The one thing that I am really waiting for right now is a bit of romance.Read More
This episode is a perfect example of why Assassination Classroom is a risky pick for me to write about. It’s one of those episodes that don’t contribute a whole lot in my opinion, making it pretty difficult for me to find the right words when trying to write up a post.
The characters thought I’d be awesome to help their newest classmate with his remote controlled car so that they can kill their alien teacher peek up girls’ skirts with it. I’ll admit that I got interested because I thought that we’d get to see a tiny bit of fan service. But hey, this is Assassination Classroom; there isn’t a lot of that here.
So then I thought that it would pass. We’d soon be watching something else. But no, the majority of that episode was dedicated to showing us how tentacle-boy managed to find himself a place inside that classroom of dangerous misfits. I can only hope that things are going to pick up soon now that the headmaster is once again up to something.Read More
What a terribly long day. I had to work 4 extra hours today and I am tired. Hell, I am broken. I am coughing all over the place, my head and throat are killing me and all I want to do right now is drink a hot cup of tea with honey and go straight to bed.
I hate to keep things short when an episode like this one deserves so much better. I mean, watching that crazy girl get herself in trouble again because she wants to protect a few cocky children was actually surprisingly amusing. She ended up getting damaged in the process, which was surprisingly amusing as well, and I am actually hoping that things like that continue to happen every now and then.
And Afro-kun? Well, he’s certainly getting closer. He knows why those numbered coils are so popular; they are more powerful than regular, limited coils. It’s the ancient story of the guy with the biggest stick that rules the world. I wouldn’t mind if he came across one of those coils next week so that he can give it to his partner. Can you imagine that girl with that much power? Sounds pretty interesting to me.Read More
Very nice episode! There are a lot of things that I could say right now, but I’ll start with a simple; “it’s about damn time”. I think it was about time that they stopped messing about with their little organisations and whatnot.
First thing’s first; the princess finally opened her naïve little yes. She saw her friend (and many others) die before her very eyes because they tried fighting for their freedom. She was a target herself but her beloved maid, whom plotted to kill her also, ended up having a change of heart by catching the bullet that was meant for the princess. One can only hope that her eyes are finally opened after seeing all that bloodshed and that she finally stops with her ideas of attaining peace through negotiation when it’s quite clear that that’s not an option.
Now, it would seem that Tekkadan’s backers, the organisation that they pledged to, is an evil one after all. What a surprise… Come on… How could you not see this coming? It’s obvious that they had something like that planned from the very start. They would never have agreed to let those boys in if they themselves could not benefit from it.
The question is; will that playboy and his crew follow Orga and his family? Or will they remain loyal to that backstabbing organisation that plans to work with Gjallarhorn by helping them kill the princess. It’s annoying that they took so long to confirm the obvious, but oh well… Nice to see that I was right.Read More
I wanted to write this post yesterday but I feel asleep. I do not regret it. I’ve been feeling so horrible lately and last night I actually managed to catch a few hours of sleep without coughing up a lung. I can only hope that I’ll be just as lucky tonight.
I’ll come out and say it right away; I do not like how Youji is letting himself be manipulated like that. That dark elf used a lot of underhanded methods in order to get his help. She clearly does not mind to ruin other people’s lives if it means that her people get to keep theirs. Some might think it’s quite admirable that she’s willing to go so far for her people. I do not.
I have recently also been told that Youji will make some kind of pact with Rory. I have no idea what that’s about, but it couldn’t have been her biting him at the end of the episode, right? What was so special about that? All I get to see is the adorable Rory bite Youji’s arm. The only injustice is that she has been getting way too little screen-time lately.Read More
