Accel World

Haha, I laughed so hard during these two episodes. I was put off at first, but I’m really glad that I kept watching, as it turned out to be something interesting. Hell, I think I’m actually going to write about this one.

The artwork is really good. I like the main character, that little fat kid. I can’t remember how many times he made me laugh by running around. Normally I would have an opinion about a minor change, but I’m actually fine by how Accel World looks right now.

As for the story goes, well… Love it! The story is really something else, even though it reminded me a little bit of the Twilight anime’s. The story is very unique, interesting and it has the potential to run for quite some time, so it’s no wonder that this show has twenty-four episodes.

I definitely recommend this show to all action and sci-fi fans. It’s a lot of fun to watch, even though the first two or three episodes are kind of weird, but watch the entire episode and you’ll see how fun it is. We have a good one here!

Plot Summary: One autumn day in 2046, Haruyuki has an encounter with Kuroyukihime, the prettiest girl in his school. For the middle school boy who is often bullied, the meeting changes his life. Through a mysterious piece of software from her, Haruyuki learns of the existence of the virtual Accel World. In that moment, the lowest of the “school caste” becomes “Burst Linker”, a knight defending a princess.

I had no problems with the first few minutes. I just kept watching and laughing 😀

And I agree, this is definitely a show to remember! I wish the main character wasn’t so short and chubby though.

  2. I somewhat agree. I think that, unlike with Natsuiro Kiseki, this show is very interesting and unique. It was a strange start, with at part I agree, but I don’t think that they should change the main character. So he’s fat and short, who cares? It’s one of the few key ingredients that makes this anime so interesting. I will definitely keep watching!!

  3. Andres C says:

does anyone know any anime that is very similar to the concepts of “C” or “accel world”, OTHER THAN guilty crown, code geass and eden of the east..

i liked “C” not terribly much but it was ok. i love accel world and the whole plot especially the funny fatass main character that makes it unique..
