Ame-iro Cocoa: Rainy Color e Youkoso!
Another anime short. I really am saying that a lot this season. GameDemon is not amused. I simply do not understand why this got a second season. The first season got poor ratings in Japan, so why?
Where do I even start my rant about how much I hate the artwork because they’re all gay-looking male characters? Would it kill them to throw in a few female characters? They just throw in a few shota’s and that’s that.
I mean, it’s bad if a show only has 5 minutes per week. Doesn’t do much for a story. It’s worse if a show only has three minutes per week. That makes it almost impossible to come up with a decent story. So how much of a story could a show like this, which has only two minutes per week, possible have? Honestly…
I’m simply not into these cheap slide of life comedies. Hell, it’s not even funny. That nonsense with that door? Come on. You must really have a weak sense of humour if you laugh at that. I definitely won’t be watching this and I don’t see what I should recommend anyone otherwise.
Plot Summary: Life at the Rainy Color café can never be described as boring. The arrival of the Koga brothers from England—Noel, always brimming with curiosity, and Nicola, somewhat shy and conservative—ensures that their sibling, café manager Shion, is kept on his toes. There’s also another newcomer, cameraman/photographer Jun Arisawa, who holds a mysterious connection to café owner Koji Amami. Last but not least, there’s a special photograph that incites all kinds of heartfelt and comedic reactions from the Rainy Color crew!
