Hell yeah! I am so glad that there’s yet another season. I find the Mushishi series strangely relaxing. I fire up an episode and watch how Ginko travels that world of his in search of strange phenomena. Very relaxing indeed.
The artwork is still as great as ever. It looks so good and it’s incredibly detailed. The style itself is brilliant and I am pretty sure that anyone in his/her right mind wouldn’t change a thing about it. It’s too damn good to change.
I don’t think I need to say anything about the story either. There are very few people out there that don’t know about the Mushishi series. It has become quit famous over the past few years.
I do recommend this. Watch the previous series if you haven’t already. I promise you that its time well spent.
Plot Summary: Mushi; the life-blood of nature. They exist everywhere in various forms: micro-organisms, fungi, bodies of water. Sometimes, they’re even mistaken to be plants, animals, or spirits. But regardless of their appearance, they exist, nonetheless, living the only way they know how. At times, their actions can cause strange or unexplainable phenomena. Enter Ginko, the Mushishi (mushi master), as he continues encountering, studying, and dealing with the mysterious mushi along his journey into the unknown.Read More
I must say that I was quite interested at first. That girl in the wheelchair, which is something that you don’t see often in anime, really caught my attention. I thought that I had found something really good. Yeah… I thought that.
As I started watching I noticed that the quality of the artwork was rather lacking a bit. It looks very nice and all, but it’s not very detailed. It could just be the episode that I downloaded though.
Now then, the story is probably why I found myself to be a little bit disappointed. You expect one thing and suddenly you get something entirely different. I found myself bored and a little bit irritated by the time I finished watching.
I saw that this show was categorized as a slice of life anime. Yeah, no… I doubt it. Mahou Shoujo-like anime don’t deserve that tag. It’s ridiculous. You decide for yourselves, but I won’t be watching this.
Plot Summary: The story takes place in the era of the gods, year 300. Yuuna Yuuki lives an ordinary life as a second year middle school student, but she’s also a member of the “Hero Club,” where club activities involve dealing with a mysterious being called “Vertex.”Read More
This could’ve been something really good. It really could have been. I am just really disappointed in the artwork.
The artwork itself looks good. I like that oldskool style. That being said, the characters ruin everything. It looks ridiculous. It looks like they were aiming for 2.5D characters and stopped halfway. The sceneries look very nice, but those 2.25D characters just don’t fit in.
The story might good. Good enough for me to ignore the lacking artwork? No. Not at all.
I cannot recommend this. The artwork is completely ruined because of those characters and the story isn’t nearly good enough to make up for that flaw. I won’t be watching this and I see no reason for you to either.
Plot Summary: Ronja is the only daughter of Mattis, a bandit leader who lives in a castle in the middle of a large forest. When Ronja grows old enough, she ventures into the forest to interact the strange and magical creatures that live there. She learns to live in the forest through her own strength, with the occasional rescue from her parents. Ronja’s life begins to change, however, when she happens upon a boy her own age named Birk.Read More
This is not at all bad for an anime short. It’s too bad that it’s too damn girly for me, otherwise I definitely would’ve watched it.
The story is obviously created for female audiences. It is by no means a great story, but if it weren’t so obnoxiously girly I definitely would’ve given this a chance.
Go for it, ladies. It may be an amusing way to spend five minutes a week.
Plot Summary: The original story follows Sayuri Haruno, a girl who attends an elite confectionery school Fleurir on a scholarship to follow her dream to open a pastry shop. There she meets several charming young men.Read More
Incredible. This is so incredibly boring that I have no idea what I should say in this review. I think I didn’t even fully finish the first episode. I kind of just clicked it away near the end.
For me it’s the story that just makes me want to go to bed. It is boring. I have no idea what to think of it, I have no expectations and I have no interest in it whatsoever. You can clearly tell that this was adapter from some game; it has an incredibly weak story.
I already know that I am not going to watch this and I see no reason to recommend people to do otherwise. Just move on to something else.
Plot Summary: I have no clue. Some crappy slice of life show about a couple of girls and their every day school lives, I suppose.Read More
It sounded bad when I read about it and it turned out to be so much worse when I actually saw it. I honestly cannot believe that this actually exists… This is ridiculous.
The story is what ruins it for me. This story is just the worst. Who cares about saving the twin tail hairstyle? I don’t. I certainly don’t want to watch a teenage boy transform into a female loli with two or three meter long hair in order to fight off “evil”.
This story is completely pointless, it is ridiculous, it is uninteresting and it is really weird. I honestly cannot recommend this. In fact, I have no idea to whom I could recommend this
Plot Summary: Sōji is an ordinary high school student with an extraordinary love for pig tails (or “twin tails”). One day a mysterious girl from another universe named Thouars appears in front of him. At the exact same time, monsters begin attacking the city where Sōji lives, declaring they will drain the world’s energy in the name of the Twintails. Sōji receives a powerful armor from Thouars called “Tail Gear” which transforms him into a female Twintail warrior named Tail Red.Read More
Thank you Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. You made me realize why I love anime so much. This show is so incredibly amazing that one season of this won’t be enough to satisfy me. The Nodame Cantabile series made me fall in love with music-genre anime and I am sure that this one will only make that stronger.
The artwork is sublime. It is truly, truly good stuff. The characters look wonderful, especially Kaori, that blonde beauty. It is incredibly detailed and I honestly wouldn’t dare to change a thing as it is right now. Wonderful…
The story is good, interesting and it shows a great deal of promise. I can see where they’re going with this and I can honestly say that it sounds dramatically romantic. It is something that I definitely want to see.
You are a true fool if you don’t watch this. You may as well give up on anime altogether. It looks so incredibly good and the story just compliments all of that. It is a must see show.
Plot Summary: Kōsei Arima was a piano prodigy until his mother died when he was eleven years old. The shock of losing her made him lose any interest in piano, and his life has felt monotonous ever since. Then, when he’s fourteen, his childhood friend Tsubaki introduces him to her classmate Kaori, a free-spirited violinist. Her enthusiasm reignites his interest in music and in life.Read More
I am pretty sure that most people could see this one coming. Psycho-Pass turned out to be a great success. When I read about all that I immediately realized that a second season was soon forthcoming. After all, if you find yourself in possession of a cow that squirts out pure gold, you’d naturally milk that puppy dry.
I was surprised to see how Akane-chan has grown. I remember the fragile, easily influenced Akane from season one. Now she’s a badass, seasoned cop that doesn’t take no for an answer. Well done, Akane-chan!
I do recommend this. The story can be quite hectic at times, but that is one of the things that make it great. Watch the first season if you haven’t already and enjoy!
Plot Summary: Having learned the true nature of the Sybilla System, Akane Tsunemori chose to obey the system, believing in both humanity and the legal order. She’s part of a new police section and spends her everyday life facing down criminals. Unbeknownst to Akane, however, a monster who will shake the system to its core is about to appear before her.Read More
