I am once again forced to keep a post short. I couldn’t sleep last night so I went down to warm up some milk when I tripped and fell down the stairs. My back is absolutely killing me and now I have to go to my doctor tomorrow. So yeah, short post incoming.
So the princess did her thing and implored her people to stop fighting and return to their own bases. She is sick and tired of all the fighting and wishes to have peace between earth and the people of Vers. Not that it matters, because earth may have Inaho, but Vers has a more advanced technology and far more powerful mechs at their disposal. In theory they should win.
But hey, Slaine almost gave up when he tried to blow up that base with him still in it. But in the end he came out to fight Inaho-kun and failed once more. Inaho, as everyone already knew, has won and Slaine has been imprisoned to protect the people from earth and Vers and to protect Slaine from himself, seeing as he’s quite suicidal now that he’s lost. All in all a pretty good ending for a great show. Thank you. I am going to cry myself to sleep now.Read More
Bah. I just had the worst day. Almost everything went wrong from the moment I woke up. Even writing this post has gone wrong. Normally I’d have plenty of time to write up a post, but now I only have about twenty minutes to finish this up.
Anyway, keeping it all short; I knew it would go down this way. Slaine is your typical good guy turned bad guy character. He wants the one thing that he cannot have and it is killing him. He thought he could control the princess by keeping her imprisoned in his little base. Now he lost the one thing that mattered most and it is starting to show.
Slaine finally lost it. He ordered an all-out attack on earth at the time where the princess announced to her people that she was still alive and that she doesn’t want war. We now Slaine will just use her sister to control the damage, but he will ultimately lose this. People will eventually think there’s something wrong and figure out what Slaine’s been up to. Just a matter of time…Read More
What a really strange episode. So much happened during this week’s Aldnoah Zero episode and yet I have so little to say. Finding the right words is difficult and actually thinking of something worthwhile is even harder.
Inaho and the rest of his comrades were apparently tired of constantly defending their planet, so they decided to launch an attack of their own with a hidden objective; to rescue the awakened princess and to bring her back to earth so that she may help them stop the war from going on much longer, which is quite the difficult task with Slaine trying to obtain more and more power.
I imagine that Slaine would lose a lot of power and a lot of leverage when that princess is rescued. A lot of people would stop following him if it would come out, provided they’d believe it. Slaine could just say that she’s a hologram or something and use his puppet to continue playing Asseylum for him. Still, the damage is done; he lost what he loves most. We’ll just have to see how he copes with it.Read More
This episode made clear just how pointless things are. One faction tries to overtake the other and once that happen something similar will happen again in a few decades. It’s a never ending circle of violence and misery.
So Inaho and his fellow soldiers were working on a plan to take out all of those enemy mechs without losing too many friends. It is quite troubling to see him struggle against an enemy when Slaine is still out there. And Slaine is better than all of them because he, like Inaho, has the ability to predict attacks and whatnot. The only difference is that Inaho is suffering from it and is getting worse as time passes whereas Slaine doesn’t seem bothered by it at all. They’re conditions may be different and so is the backlash I suppose.
But anyway, Slaine’s little quest for control has been disrupted a little bit. Only a little bit. Both princesses are now aware of him and his need for power. I don’t think things will go as smoothly as before now that both princesses are reluctant to go along with his plans. Will that stop him from continuing this war? I very much doubt it.
This was has been going on for about two years now if I understood right. Inaho and the rest of the army have been doing their best to defeat one enemy mech after the other, but the enemy continues to maintain control over vast areas. I am not sure if the areas in question have expanded over time, but Inaho’s struggle seems quite pointless from where I’m sitting. He destroys one and another shows up.Read More
Okay, I personally consider this episode the calm before the storm, even though it was filled with a lot of awesome action. I have a feeling that the action in this episode is going to be nothing compared to the action we’re about to see.
Let’s tackle the action bit first; Inaho and the rest of his friends and colleagues were fighting off two (I think?) mechs. It was difficult. One was invisible and the other was using electricity to defend and attack at the same time. I’m not sure if that was the same mech or even the same battle, but it was pretty darn awesome. I also think it was the first time where Inaho was actually cornered. He usually has a plan and things usually go according to that plan, but now he was getting pushed back badly. It actually made me wonder how he would ever face Slaine if he couldn’t even deal with guys like that.
Anyway, princess Asseylum has awakened and she is starting to remember all sorts of things. The other princess, whom is clearly losing bits and pieces of her sanity, found out that her ‘dear’ sister had disappeared from that container and probably knows that something’s up. Even that handmaid girl called Eddelrittuo is beginning to question it at all as well.
This episode really made me respect Inaho even more, despite the fact that he got pushed back. He let that blonde count go back to his people in order to find out more information about princess Asseylum. It just goes to show how far Inaho plans ahead and how well his plans work out. He took a chance and it seems that that chance is about to pay off.Read More
Incredible plot twist! We all knew that this was going to happen sooner or later, but it’s actually quite interesting that it happened now. Slaine is about to marry an imposter princess in order to obtain more power and authority. I wonder what’s going to happen.
So we all know about that little princess and her unfortunate predicament. She has been locked up in that tube for god only knows how long and she finally opened her eyes again after her sister nearly killed her last week. Yes, this is good news in general, but this could turn out to be pretty bad for Slaine. After all, he rescued her from earth and brought her to that facility in order to try and save her life, which he seems to have done quite well. Now he has to make sure she stays quiet by making sure she doesn’t find out about what’s going on right now.
Will Slaine call off that wedding now that his beloved princess has awakened? Doubt it. He cares for that princess quite a lot. He would do anything to ensure her safety. Gaining more and more power by uniting all the people from Vers and gaining control of them would pretty much give him enough power to take the fight back to earth once more.
Slaine simply finds himself in a tough spot. He has to juggle two princess whilst taking control of an entire space army. To top that all off; he has Inaho to worry about. Inaho has been the only one so far that has been able to keep up with him. I am really curious to see how he will deal with all of that without losing face.Read More
Another highly anticipated Aldnoah Zero episode and I noticed that a lot of fans were very disappointed. I really wonder why. I thought that this outcome was rather predictable. Why act disappointed when you could’ve already known that it was going to turn out this way?
So Inaho decided to take on another high-end mech with the help of his fellow soldiers. They decided, because the enemy had a really powerful weapon, a long-ranged laser beam, to act as decoys so that their battle ship can shoot it from afar. It was quite ingenious because that guy’s beam could only go on a straight line without curbing. Big shells, because of gravity, tend to decent a little when they have to travel a long way. All that was left is to make the enemy stand on one spot and to let the ship know the right coordinates and voilà. You have yourself an easy target.
There is no point in calling Inaho a genius. He just is when it comes to combat. The real question is if he’s better than Slaine, because damn… Slaine foresaw his opponents moves in that one on one battle, killed him, took his mech and pretty much all of his assets. Slaine keeps growing in power whilst Inaho is still trying to get rid of enemy mechs back on earth. Yeah, he may have an informant amongst them, but he has yet to hear from him. In fact, we don’t even know if he made it back yet. Everything seems to be going great for Slaine and poorly for Inaho, so I am kind of curious to know how they are going to reverse these roles. We already know that Inaho is going to be the victory, surely…Read More
This is becoming more and more interesting. Yeah, I still don’t understand how Slaine thinks or what his objective is, but all that seems insignificant compared to how Inaho is doing things. That guy truly is a born tactician.
So Inaho decided that he’d want to know a little bit more about the missing princess and about Slaine’s true objectives. He himself can’t just go to outer-space and knock on their door in the hope that they will answer some of his questions. Instead, he spoke to one of the prisoners from outer-space. He informed him about what has happened and about what truly was going on. He was reluctant to believe it at first, but I am guessing that part of him chose to believe what Inaho told him about Slaine and the real princess, seeing as he ultimately agreed to help Inaho find out more about Slaine and the princess.
And Slaine? The guy has no idea that Inaho has an informant like that. He is worried about other people with high ranks that are now trying to undermine his new-found authority. He has no time to be worried about informants and other people that might know the truth about what happened. He is too busy trying to maintain his position of power.
What will happen? Well, Slaine will win this upcoming one-on-one, of course. No doubt in my mind about that. I’m more curious about the guy that Inaho let go. What kind of information will he uncover about Slaine? And will he actually be able to reach the princess? The story has truly become very interesting now.Read More
