I honestly don’t think that this episode was worthy of a post. I do not acknowledge this as the final episode. I see it as an OVA or something like that. I also think the Romance genre needs to be removed from Amagi Brilliant Park. This show may have been many things, but romantic isn’t one of them.
They spent an entire episode on the show’s promotional video. I had to watch ridiculous comedy even though there were so many other things that we could’ve focussed on. Why not focus on romance a little by making the protagonist go out with that gun-crazy girl? Why not just explain to us who that strange guy was that wanted to see the park gone? Why not show us a scene of the future or something like that? Anything would’ve been better than this ridiculous and pointless episode. I feel like I wasted my time watching this as it contributed absolutely nothing to the story. I won’t even bother writing about it anymore. Bye.Read More
I will only be doing the Amagi Brilliant Park post this week because other shows have ended and I would like to be able to write something daily. I actually started watching with the idea that this was the final episode. It seems I checked wrongly.
Okay, so things didn’t go entirely as I had imagined, but I wasn’t far off. Everyone pitched in by calling friends, family, pretty much anyone that they could get a hold off in order to lure them into the park. I mean, everyone knew that they would succeed even before this whole thing started. I am just happy that I got to see some of those mascots get beat up. Too bad that annoying shark didn’t get beaten. I would have loved to see that. He has been annoying since the show began and he hasn’t changed one bit from what I could tell.
Well, they succeeded. The park has been saved and that stalking guy that came to check up on them regularly, seems to be someone from their magical world as well. Believe it or not, I actually saw that coming. I knew something was off when he took such an interest in our protagonist and actually tried to win him over to his side. After having experienced what Amagi Brilliant Park had to offer us, the viewer, I kind of started to make that connection between that guy and their world. I am guessing that they are going to focus on that a bit during the next and final episode.Read More
I am skipping Naruto Shippuuden again this week. Still too many fillers for my taste. This on the other hand is starting to look really promising again. The thought of them trying to rush the ending is slowly starting to disappear.
I have surprisingly very little to say about this episode. It was quite brilliant. They found a football team or two that needed a stadium to play in. That’s when the park decided to allow them to use the stadium on the one condition that all of the players and visitors had to come in through the main entrance. Truly a stroke of brilliance.
They did not make it to the required number, but I am sure that our teenage manager will find a way to bring in those two hundred and fifty-two necessary visitors. There’s probably a bus or two somewhere that arrive late or something. We’ll see. I will say that my faith in the ending has been completely renewed and I am truly looking forward to seeing the last episode.Read More
I wanted to do this post yesterday but I was feeling so bad that I just skipped out on it. I am not at all better yet, but good enough to write up a post or two. At least this episode was a lot more informative and interesting than some of the others.
So the park is open after all. I lost track and didn’t even notice that it was opened. I don’t even know when it was opened. All I know is that more and more people keep visiting and that things are actually starting to look a normal park with normal people. The shows are being done, the people are being entertained and I have yet to see any of the employees engage any of the customers in hand to hand combat. This must mean that the park is definitely improving under Seiya’s management, proving once and for all that he definitely knows what he’s doing.
Now, it seems he is going to be rushing things, as one would already expect. He is worried about Latifa, whose memories and body “reset” after a year (gee, where have I heard this before?), so he is getting worried about having far too little time to accomplish his goal of getting all of those visitors. Bad things happen when things are rushed.
Now this tiny lion-like guy walks in at the last moment and tells everyone that he might have found a way to gain the required amount of visitors. Something tells me that it involves the girls and very little clothing again. But hey, we will have to wait another week to find that out, now wont we?Read More
I don’t know what to think anymore. I am almost entirely convinced that the park is open now, but that things are still going terrible. It looks to me that they are so focussed on the comedy that the main story is somewhat being neglected.
This week the four elemental fairies get the spotlight. Their act is going very well and they don’t seem very motivated to change either. The only one doing their best is the airheaded of the four, which is coincidentally my favourite. She can be pretty hilarious from time to time. But to see them rehearse and have a hot pot party… Yeah… No idea what to say about that.
Everybody knows that they like to focus on the strangest of things, but to think that we would have to watch those four play some kind of Dance Dance Revolution game in order to save the park from going down… Nuts! I think it’s about time they started focussing on the park and its mission to gain more visitors instead of rushing the ending.Read More
I am very disappointed. I am starting to get the feeling that the ending of Amagi Brilliant Park is going to be very messy and uninspiring. They’re probably going to do some kind of show that will lure in the necessary amount of visitors at the last minute and end the show.
It started out pretty interesting. All was going well until Seiya fell sick from being overworked. This resulted in those idiots, Moffle and that pink cat thing, taking his place at school by putting on a Seiya suit with a zipper sticking out of the head. That was just a kick in the family jewels because it actually looked pretty promising.
It is safe to say that this episode contributed nothing to the story’s overall progress. Nothing was done and I doubt there were any shows since the most popular characters of that park where busy trying to be a teenage high schooler. I don’t think there has ever been an episode with this little progress to be very honest.Read More
This episode was so incredibly confusing. I have no idea what to think of Amagi Brilliant Park anymore. I know what the point of the story is, I know that we are currently working towards a goal, but the path on which we travel is just too damn weird.
I can’t stop asking myself if the park is finally open or not. Is it? I don’t know. I just saw an episode with a lot of characters on a hot summer’s day that were enjoying their day at the pool. I doubt that they built a pool outside of the park, so I am guessing that that’s either the second park that was closed or that the park finally opened and is attracting very few customers. On one hand I am hoping that the park is finally open, giving me the impression that we’re about to see a lot of funny stuff, but on the other I am kind of hopping it isn’t because of the low amount of customers that showed up.
Was it really necessary to bring in more of those weird characters? A seal pirate that wants to enslave people, but are all scared of that weird shark? Yeah… I don’t think that I would like to see many more of these episodes. I had fun because other characters managed to put a smile on my face (like that hilarious blonde dullard).
The park’s new manager saw the visitor count and even he is starting to feel some pressure. He clearly doesn’t like to lose with that cocky b*st*rd coming over to rub it in. Now would be a good time to get to work and come up with a way to attract more customers to the park. I just don’t want a “magical” solution to the park’s problems.Read More
I don’t get this show. I honestly just don’t. The park is still not open and there are still a lot more things that need to be done. How is it possible that the visitor count keeps increasing? Do people really visit closed amusement parks?
That is not the only thing that I do not understand. The park finds itself in a rough spot. It is running out of funds and its attractions need repairing. Time is their enemy. That all being said, why hire even more employees when you don’t have any more left to spare? I don’t get that. Why hire when you can’t even afford to repair certain attractions? It would’ve made a little more sense if the park was actually open to make a bit of money, but it just isn’t. Why hire more people to work for an amusing park that’s closed? I keep asking myself those questions over and over…
You know, I didn’t even pay attention to Isuzu’s strange dream. She dreamt what would happen ahead of time, which would be Seiya hiring those three girls. Who would care about her insecurities at this point? There has been very little progress for the past three weeks. My mind is completely focussed on that right now.
However, I must admit that I loved it when that woman gave Seiya and Moffle the impression that she was an ex-porn queen. I laughed my ass off when it turned out that she did animal videos instead of the type of AV that those two had in mind. Especially that scene where they thought they had found one of her videos… Priceless.Read More
