This episode left me completely speechless. Yes, it was amusing. No, it was not a good ending. I expected so much more from Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou when I first started watching. There better be a second season waiting for me in the near future.
I still cannot understand how Kazunari and Ritsu didn’t even cuddle or hug. I knew that they wouldn’t become a couple any time soon, but I would’ve at least expected a close and somewhat personal relationship. There has been no progress whatsoever. None. He only got her phone number during the last few minutes of this episode, what kind of crap is that? Everyone has been dying to see those two go out on a date without having to worry about Mayumi’s interference. I have been dying to see that. But now that I look back on it I realized that there has been very little progress between those two.
I became a little hopeful when Ritsu got drunk during the second half of the episode. I thought that maybe she would trip and fall into Kazunari’s arms or something like that, but no… She just ended up falling asleep in there and somehow books got involved again. People with a book fetish (do those even exist?) must’ve been in ecstasy during these past twelve weeks.
It was fun watching all twelve episodes. I still recommend this to everyone out there, even though it didn’t meet my expectations. I truly hope that they decide to make a second season of this. I certainly don’t want to see a second Blade and Soul season. I think I’d rather watch those kiddy shows on Monday than a second Blade and Soul season.Read More
It pains me to say that the next episode will be the last. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. I’ve been wanting to see something happen between Kazunari and Ritsu, but I have slowly come to accept that that’ll probably never happen.
I must admit that the first half was absolutely brilliant. This new character shows up that turned out to be an old friend of Sayaka. They used to be great friends and went to the same school until Sayaka decided to go to a different school than her. It’s brilliant because this character told everyone a lot about Sayaka that they didn’t know before. Sayaka, of course, didn’t like it that her dirty little secrets were now out in the open. That’s why I’m happy; she finally got what she deserved. She had been riding everybody ever since she showed up. It was nice to see her so vulnerable for once.
Anyway, it’s just not going to happen. Kazunari is too much of a coward that thinks too much about everything and Ritsu is too naïve and socially inexperienced to realize that Kazunari has feelings for her. This charade has been going on for eleven weeks now and there has been very little progress. That is why I’ve lost hope. I’ll just patiently wait until next week and see what happens.
You know, I’m not at all looking forward to the next episode. It’s going to end everything and there’s still nothing known about the possibility of a second season. I already know that it’s not going to end the way I want it to. I just hope that Kazunari gets a hug or something. Give the guy something after living in hell for these past eleven weeks…Read More
It was difficult to have to wait an extra day for this week’s Bokura no wa Minna Kawaisou. I am kind of hoping that the next episode will be the one episode that we’ve all been waiting for. I just hope that one gets fan subbed faster than this one.
So Kazunari is thinking about quitting his job. He likes it there and he actually feels comfortable there, but he wants to quit because it’s a place where freaks supposedly gather. He’s sick and tired of looking after those strange guy even though he’s arguably the strangest one there. It takes a big freak to be able to endure other freaks, but it takes an even bigger freak to lead them. That guy just attracts strange characters because he’s very strange himself, even though the idiot in question doesn’t see it yet. The irony is strong with that one…
So this little sadistic brat showed up again. I thought it was going to be another episode that was going to give her too much attention, but she ended up being a huge help! She opened up her enormous mouth and told Ritsu that Kazunari obviously likes her. That’s why I’m anxious about the next episode… It’s about to go down!
Kazunari has his work cut out for him this time. Now’s a good time to confess to Ritsu, especially since she thinks that he’s nice to everyone and doesn’t think of her as girlfriend material. It’s quite obvious that she’s in love with him. Now would be a good time to put all the cards on the table for both of them. I cannot wait to see that!Read More
Is it just me or has the amount of fan service increase during the past few weeks? You don’t need to guess that I’m talking about Mayumi’s appearance. She always wears very little clothing and the clothing that she does wear doesn’t really hide much. Lately it seems like she’s wearing less and less. Maybe it’s just me?
It’s no surprise that Mayumi stands in the spotlight again. She was dumped for the millionth time by some random scumbag and you know what that means. We have to endure a fragile and emotional Mayumi as she pisses off everyone around her with her victim-like attitude. She’s not a victim at all. She’s an easy girl (no other way to describe her) that falls in love (not that I would call it that) way too easily and way too quickly. You’d think that she wouldn’t even be bothered by it anymore after being dumped so many times.
I’ll have to admit that I’m a tiny bit proud of her when she declined that guy, although she was getting ready for it before she heard that he’s only fifteen years old. I guess that she has some standards, at least. For a second there it seemed as though she was reconsidering it altogether. Truly a very strange character…
Anyway, there has been very little progress again. Yes, Kazunari took control of the situation when Ritsu freaked out over a centipede that “terrorized” her. She ended up spilling boiled water on Kazunari’s arm when he tried to protect her. Yeah, that earned him some love-love points. How many? I don’t know. This shy love crap will probably last all throughout the last episode.Read More
Writing about this episode is going to be really rough. It was very aggravating and I actually felt sorry for Kazunari. There may not have been a lot of progress between him and Ritsu, but I believe that he has learned a valuable lesson somehow.
I said that I felt sorry for Kazunari. I will not take that back because I did. However, I was also a bit pissed off. More than usual. That guy started his job and met a couple of the strangest characters in the entire show. He stood there and took their crap. He said nothing about their strange ways and he let them do as they pleased, even though he has been hired as their boss, right? The second part was when he was being verbally abused by that group of students, one of which was a former classmate of him. He should’ve said something about how annoying and pathetic she used to be, but I guess he’s too nice to do something like that.
Yes, this episode was truly aggravating. Still, you can say whatever you want about Kazunari and his friends, but when that guy is in trouble and doesn’t do anything himself, it is quite clear now that he has that bunch to help him out when he’s in a tight spot. Even Ritsu-chan spoke out of character to help out her friend in need. I really liked that scene!
Something tells me that we’re going to see that fake blonde again. I don’t know, but it feels as though we haven’t heard the last of her yet. She’ll probably come crawling back to apologize to him. Either way, I’m glad that Kazunari isn’t giving up and that he has fallen even deeper in love with Ritsu. I expect many great things from now on.Read More
Man, I just hate the fact that Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is getting subbed later than usual. I understand that some of those fan subbers have lives of their own (why?), but come on… Don’t make us wait one or two days more than usual…
It’s kind of hard to say… Did Kazunari make any progress this week? I don’t know. He stood up for Ritsu and held his own when the others gave him a hard time, but did he really score any points here? It’s no secret that Ritsu-chan is slowly becoming interested in him. She keeps listen to what he says from time to time, she keeps looking at him from the corners of her eyes and she even helps him by giving him books that she thinks he would like. A small fire has definitely been lit. All that’s left is to carefully keep working on that and the rest will soon follow.
I also still think that Sayaka is quite useless at this point. She’s a two-faced manipulator that wants to enjoy herself at the expense of other characters. She has yet to contribute anything useful to Kazunari’s attempt to steal Ritsu’s heart. I’ll admit that she’s pretty funny from time to time, but that just won’t do when you want to see the two main characters hook up already.
Oh, and what is up with this new job that Kazunari got dragged into? Sure, he caught Ritsu’s attention once again, but do we really want to see that guy wearing stuff like that? Seems to me that he’ll be away more often now, which could mean that he gets to spend less time with Ritsu. I certainly do not like that. It’d be fine if Ritsu visited him at work though.Read More
Days like these are nice. I cannot remember the last time where I didn’t have to write a post for my blog. It’s nice to have a day off every now and again. Having a hobby is one thing, but it shouldn’t have to consume most of your free time.
This episode got subbed a few days later because the usual subbing group, Commie Subs, decided to reorganize and fire a lot of people from their team. Fair enough, that’s their decision, too bad it might result in delayed releases. I cannot wait two extra days for Bokuwa wa Minna Kawaisou. The show is just too damn good.
I really shouldn’t like this episode too much. I wanted to say that it was worth the wait, but was it really? There was no progress whatsoever. None. Ritsu is still nose-deep in her books and Kazunari is still the same old nervous brat that knows nothing about women. To be fair though, even women don’t know a damned thing about women, so what chance do we men have? They’re just too damn nuts.
Anyway, this episode focussed around a cocky little girl that had trouble making friends because she tends to open that enormous mouth of hers before thinking about what she’s about to say. It basically revolved around her and her quest to make friends. A life where she constantly visits Shiro, a gross masochist, in order to kill the hours because she doesn’t have any friends… That’s just not worth living. The saddest part about the whole thing is that that little girl was the first character to confess her feelings towards another. That is truly messed up.Read More
Oh come on… This guy, Kazunari, seriously pisses me off every now and then. He constantly stumbles upon a way to steal Ritsu’s heart and finally become an item, only to mess it up by thinking that he managed to screw up again…
This episode was more aggravating than others. He stumbled upon the Holy Grail; the one sure-fire way to get Ritsu’s attention. The most effective method to earn a place in her heart. The idiot figured out (on his own) that it would be a good idea to read the same books as Ritsu. This is great because Ritsu loves books and it gives him a lot of material to talk to her about. Talking about what Ritsu reads in her books is a sure-fire way to strengthen your relationship with her, allowing Kazunari to move up the ladder from stranger to friend to boyfriend. He needs to keep going with this and not screw up for once.
Mayumi has always been a wild card. She speaks her mind without thinking it over properly and acts like a child from time to time. That in itself can be quite problematic for Kazunari. However, Sayaka just pours on another scoop of that. She doesn’t just speak up. She deliberately mocks and teases both Kazunari and Ritsu because she gets jealous easily. Hell, I don’t know if it’s actually jealousy that makes her do those things of if she’s just another one of those attention wh*res, but she does the most damage here. She is one of the biggest reasons why the progress between Ritsu and Kazunari has been so hectic lately. Of course, Kazunari’s tendency to think badly of the situation is still reason number one.Read More
