This is going to be a very short post. I just don’t care anymore after seeing this disappointing episode. And not because I like to point out the obvious or anything, but I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the show’s current ratings. They have dropped significantly. I think it’s safe to say that we don’t have to expect a second season with this one.
I cannot believe that we are still stuck with a suicidal protagonist. He just doesn’t seem to care anymore. Not even when his mother showed up. He only had to accept Mina’s feelings for him and he, according to Lisara, would have been saved. Mina’s energy, channelled through her feelings for him, would’ve been sufficient to save his life. But what did he do? He refused her again.
I’ll be succinct and to the point; the ending is probably going to be bad. A lot of things have yet to be covered, yet there’s only one episode left. One episode should be enough to come up with a logical explanation to save Ryousuke’s life, but not nearly enough time to restore balance to all worlds. I will be really disappointed if Mina suddenly burst out in tears, releasing a huge amount of energy that will save both Ryousuke and the world. That sounds terrible.Read More
What in the unholy hell is going on here? This twist is seriously messed up. Ryosuke, whom we all thought was the hero, has now become the villain. I’m not sure how to deal with that. It feels a little bit like all the episodes before this one were kind of pointless. He trained, defeated the enemy that held his friend hostage, only so that he could become the villain himself? How strange…
So we pick up where we left off; with Ryosuke’s return to the ‘normal’ world, the world where he was born and raised. Now, the girls kept it all a secret about how he destroyed the balance after he killed that man, but another one of those Death Reapers showed up and told him about it anyway. I think the impact would’ve been better if he were to find out on his own, which shouldn’t have been that hard, seeing as there were plenty of clues. He had no TV, mobile phone, computer or anything that would allow him to find out about recent events whilst he was gone. All of it was taken by the girls, hoping that he would never find out about what was going on outside.
It all sounds too complex. The protagonist, a once mighty pervert that wanted to do all sorts of things with all sorts of women, has now been reduced to a suicidal moron that has given up on life. He seriously doesn’t see the point in living any more. Besides, that new Death Reaper made it very clear that Ryosuke cannot be saved by Mina’s incredible energy anyway.
Now, this is what truly bothers me most of all; I just finished watching Natsuyuki Rendezvous yesterday and I was very disappointed by the ending. I cannot help but worry about this anime. There are only two episodes left, yet there’s so much left to do, and none of it will get done with the protagonist being suicidal and all. I’m keeping my fingers crossed on this one.Read More
Man, what a strange episode. I’m not sure what to think of this anymore. We are being led to believe that everything is not as it seems, and that that man was actually helping to keep balance in the universe. How strange.
It started out with Mina, which was pretty strange to begin with. It seems that Mina is also one of those infamous special human beings, as she has an enormous amount of energy. At that point we were led to believe that it revolved around her and her ability to give that guy the power needed to open up a gateway to god only knows where. However, he did not realize that she had already made a contract with Quele, so he couldn’t extract any of that energy for as long as that contract remained active. I could understand this much. The rest is just a bit too strange.
Ryosuke came rushing in to help his friends, where he found Lisara at that guy’s mercy and Mina once again a prisoner of war. I didn’t take him long to pick a fight with that guy, seeing as he was more interesting in Ryosuke’s sword than Mina’s energy. Needless to say that yet another battle broke loose were Ryosuke won thanks to his perverseness.
That too was still pretty understandable. We all know Ryosuke, we all know that he’s a gigantic pervert, so I don’t think that the viewers were surprised by the way he won. It’s what happened after that that makes things messed up. That guy turned out to be the bringer of balance or whatever. That is why Ryosuke reacted like that after he defeated him. Honestly, I have no idea what to think of this right now. I will wait and see where they’re going with this next week, but I’m starting to get annoyed by these irritating and pointless twists.Read More
What the? What a strange episode this turned out to be. I cannot help but feel that this episode made things even more confusing than they already were. Frankly, I don’t think that’s a good sign when there are only four episodes left. I could definitely be wrong here though. There may have been something that I have overlooked.
I think it’s strange that Mina got pot in the spotlight like that. It seems that she possess a lot of power. We already knew that, as it was mentioned before when Quele confronted her with that whole contract issue. But still, why now? I thought that it was well established that Ryosuke was the “special specimen” here. I like good twists, but that would be way too strange.
Moving on to better things; Lisara and Iria made their way to that tower whilst Quele and Ryosuke were trying to do ‘something’. I’m not even going to focus on that part. Lisara was betrayed by Iria at first, as expected, but Iria soon came around to help her friend in a time of need. That was pretty predictable, so no, I’m not impressed.
I was a bit surprised to see Lisara’s mother trying to keep Ryosuke a prisoner though. She refused to let him go, merely because she claims that Lisara was fully prepared for anything when she left to go to war with that guy. That is just a load of bull. That’s probably why Ryosuke didn’t fall under her spell and broke free with Quele, whom had also broken free from those two perverted maids. I don’t see the point right now though. Lisara and Iria are making their way up in that tower while Ryosuke and Quele are on their way to help them, and for what? Mina has already escaped. It’ll be an awkward situation when they find out.Read More
It was an amusing episode and all, but I think the show is getting a bit dull. Also, I believe that they are being a bit too obvious with those panty-shots. Those shots would have a lot more impact if they were a bit more subtle, instead of the obvious approach. Maybe that’s just me though?
So Ryosuke, Lisara and Quele have finally arrived, huh? Lisara sure didn’t look happy to return home. How could she though? They were ambushed by a small army of monsters as soon as they touched the ground, after which Ryosuke ended up getting hurt. It took Lisara’s mother and her two maids to fix him back up. They have interesting methods. I wouldn’t mind getting hurt, just to that I could get treated by them. No problem whatsoever.
Anyway, Lisara was still a bit off, even after Ryosuke was pretty much recovered. She is way too obsessed with her family. She feels obligated to fight for her family, her friends and the “future” of her world. It’s only a matter of time before she gets defeated, again.
Next week’s episode should prove to be pretty interesting. Iria will show her true colours and we’ll see whether or not Quale will ‘hook up’ with Ryosuke or not. I was pretty surprised to see her offer herself to him like that. I can’t help but feel that it’s out of character, which makes me think that there’s a hidden agenda behind it. I’m guessing that it’s supposed to make him stronger, keeping in mind that Ryosuke feeds off of perverted things. It doesn’t get much more perverted than having sex with another girl in your future mother-in-law’s house. It’ll be very interesting alright.Read More
The hell did I watch here? Something’s seriously wrong with this week’s episode. It’s like the comedy took a 180 degree turn for the worse. Yes, I laughed at certain scenes, but that is it. It’s a bit funny, that’s it. It wasn’t all that interesting this time.
I liked it when everyone’s favourite pervert king’s mother decided to video chat with her offspring, after which she was introduced to his awesome harem. This all led to her telling him the truth about his father, about how he was a demon as well, and that he left one half of a mystical and powerful weapon behind when he was still inside her womb. Lisara just gave him the final piece of the puzzle, thereby completing the ‘weapon’, which is now known as poor little Ryosuke. Talk about a strange turn of events, huh? Maybe that weapon’s also the reason why he can share his energy multiple times a day.
I did not like hearing about how Ryosuke has two months left to live. I did not like how their true enemy appeared at the very end of the episode to abduct Mina-chan. I didn’t like any of that. I hold Quele responsible for that. Mina was her source of energy, so it was her responsibility to look after her and make sure that she stayed safe. But no, Mina-chan got taken by that guy.
I would like to end this post by sharing my final thoughts. I think that things are about to get ugly. It’s a matter of time before Ryosuke finds out about his short lifespan. I also think that Ryosuke father is somehow related to Mina’s abductor. Hell, they may even be the same person. Either way, Ryosuke will come looking for him during the next episode. That’s for sure.Read More
This must’ve been the strangest episode yet, seriously. You can’t expect too much when watching this, but this was really something else. I sat here for twenty minutes with my eyes wide open. Blinking meant missing 0.2 second of this episode.
Ryosuke, everyone’s favourite pervert king, decided that it was time for a change. He was sick and tired of seeing Lisara get hurt because he can’t do anything to help. That’s when he decided to ‘train’ his mind in order to become stronger. His ‘training’ schedule was basically reading books and visualizing things. I didn’t know that being a gigantic pervert was so hard.
Still, I could handle that much. I never expected Ryosuke to be normal. But to see Mina and Quele follow him around, taking him seriously… That was absolutely crazy. Mina even explained what Ryosuke was doing, why he was doing it and just how amazing he was, after which Quele fell in love with him as well. I was absolutely speechless. I didn’t know if I was supposed to laugh, cry, cheer or just look astonished.
Soon a new battle broke out between Lisara, Ryosuke and another one of those monsters. It was pretty cool to see Ryosuke’s power, and his ability to continuously give Lisara energy. I never would’ve imagined that an energy beam would get shot out of his chest. That was pretty crazy.
One thing still bugs me; Quele loves Ryosuke and is aware of his ‘value’. Mina is in love with Ryosuke and thinks god only knows what of him. Irie will probably come to love him and already knows his ‘value’. What about Lisara? She clearly has feelings for him, yet she’s completely ignorant about the whole thing. How could she not have realized his insane ability to continuously supply her with large amounts of energy? She must’ve realized that something’s up by now. It’s strange, that’s all I’m saying.Read More
Oh, nuts. The story just took yet another interesting, yet I’m getting more and more annoyed by Lisara’s ignorance. How can she be so blind? She still spent most of her time looking for that “special specimen”, when in actuality she already has a contract with him. Women…
So Iria joined the big picture, how amusing. Who doesn’t like a (fake) big-breasted girl that pretends to be the cutest little thing ever? Well, Lisara for one didn’t like it. Those two have been rivals ever since their school days, and I doubt that that’s about to change any time soon. Still, Iria has set her sights on the big prize; Ryosuke. She knows what he’s really capable of, how he gets his energy and why he can ‘unleash’ it multiple times a day. That’s why she became so interested in him ever since she saw what he’s capable of. Not just her too. Even Quele has been keeping an eye on him, as she too has become interested.
One thing is clear; there are people after Lisara and her boy toy. They have been watching her for some time. It was only a matter of time, but it finally happened. Lisara got attacked openly and it’s only a matter of time before the one behind it shows up. I think it’ll take another episode or two though. Lisara probably needs more time to realize that she’s already found her special someone.
The anime god a whole lot weirder, that’s for sure. Yet another character has joined the ranks and Ryosuke managed to take that whole perversion thing to a whole new level. He makes protagonists like Taro (MM!) and Taleto (R-15) look like innocent little boys. That’s just badass!Read More
