This was a very weird ending. It would’ve been okay if the second season was already announced before this episode aired, but there’s no news about the possibility of a second season, yet it ended with nothing but a cliffhanger.
Yeah, I said it, this episode, however good it was, pissed me off a little. I enjoyed watching it a lot and a couple of questions have been answered, but the way it ended was just ridiculously annoying. It ended with a huge cliffhanger that simply makes you want to know what the hell will happen next, yet there’s no guarantee that this will continue.
Watching Worick get stabbed and thrown out of a window was one thing, but we have no idea what’ll happen to Monroe or any of the Twilights. We don’t even know how this war will go down, yet it ended anyway with nothing finished. A lot of fans will be disappointed if it really does end like this. I’ll be keeping my eyes open for news of a second season.Read More
I really can’t be all that excited about this episode. I mean, they basically used this episode to build up some suspense before the final episode. That’s why there wasn’t much action other than that kid being cut up ‘n stuff.
I think it’s about time the guild did something. They don’t fight against the normals because of the law that they have sworn to uphold, but surely there’s a loophole to bend that law a bit. I would go with self-defense or something like that. Just go out there and start killing those cocky bastards already instead of sending others.
I’ll just come out and say it; there’s a lot of ground left to cover. A lot. I have no idea how they plan on ending this but I still have high hopes for it. I just hope that a lot of questions get answered next week and that we get to see that two-faced old man die. He sat there at that meeting and lied like a politician when he was the one responsible for all the death and destruction.Read More
This post is going to be very simple. This episode was pretty uneventful and I’m also short on time. I kind of don’t even want to admit how predictable Gangsta has become. I kind of already see the ending. What a shame…
It’s no surprise that Nicolas got injured again. He takes way too much drugs to enhance his abilities and it is only a matter of time before it really bites him in the ass. I’m not even sure he’s going to survive this whole ordeal. He couldn’t beat that girl and she seemed ‘okay’ compared to the other girl that showed up this week.
I am pretty sure that that busty bimbo is going to be reunited with her brother and that she’ll try to convince him to switch sides and help out Worick and Nicolas. She’ll probably succeed. Don’t even get me started about the families. Things have become very predictable there. I just hope that I’m wrong about what’s to come.Read More
I am short on time, which is okay this time. I have very little to say about this episode. I’m kind of losing interest in those handymen, especially now that I’ve seen this episode. What a shocker this turned out to be.
Nicolas might just cease to be my favourite. I thought he was this badass killer that everyone feared because he’s so strong, but now it turns out that he’s just a druggy. He apparently gets most of his power due to overdosing on those pills. That’s a big blow. Those two seem less and less important nowadays.
Nicolas and Worick went down in popularity and the guild went up in popularity. That busty S-rank came in and hauled so much ass. Nicolas couldn’t even do the job and she came in and made it seem so damn easy. It makes me want to know more about her and their organisation. I’m guessing that they’re more than what they seem.Read More
This episode was much better than the last. I kind of got tired of all those flashback scenes. Just show us what happened in one episode instead of splitting several episodes in half like that. It makes things hard to follow sometimes.
Anyway, those two handymen and their lovely pet parasite were busy working on their favourite gun store. They had to repair and repaint the place in order to make some money. I suppose it’s better than putting their lives on the line like they usually do, but I’m guessing that the money isn’t nearly as good as shooting someone.
What bothers me is that the story kind of didn’t continue. Last week we saw how Nicolas noticed something. You’d think that he, being as eager as he is, would immediately investigate in the hope of finding a worthy opponent. It’s rather disappointing that something like that didn’t happen. I was kind of looking forward to it.
Now it also turns out that Alex has a younger brother. It took them eight weeks to get to this point? Not only does she have a younger brother, but he also just arrived in the city and he pretty much found her right away just by hearing her sing. I’m not saying that I don’t like it. All I’m saying is that it raises a lot of questions.
Is that guy also a Twilight? What does he do? Why did it take him so long to come looking for his sister? How did they even split up? I’m guessing that we’re going to get a lot more flashback scenes during the next few episodes. That’s what I was worried about; a new character shows up with a past and we’re bound to find out more.Read More
This was a very uneventful episode. There’s really not a lot that I want to say about this episode. A lot of flashback scenes and other info that wasn’t really all that interesting will force me to keep this short.
It was nice to know that Nicolas was the one that killed Worick’s father. It was a bit confusing to see Worick react that way, but I guess that he still cared for that man even though he was being beaten by him on a daily basis. I for one would’ve applauded and never looked back. There’s only so much that I would be willing to take.
Anyway, things are going to get busy again now that someone’s still going around killing Twilights. People are getting nervous and have started to point fingers in every direction. It’s only a matter of time before a war breaks out if the culprits aren’t found and taken care of. I just hope that they won’t dedicate another ten minutes on flashback scenes.Read More
I suppose this was a good episode? I must admit that it was really quite annoying to see those boys get pushed and beat around without them defending themselves. It’s difficult to watch, you know? It’s just a damn shame that I’m running out of time right now.
I hate the idea that Nicolas might not live that long. He’s an awesome character. I’m just waiting to see young Nicolas cut up those soldiers that use him like a disposable weapon and I would also love to see that gigolo kill his old man for beating him and doing god only knows what else. I mean, a guy like that cannot be doing business legally.
I won’t even spend any time on that prostitute Alex right now. Nothing we didn’t already see coming. I just want to know how Nicolas and his gigolo master got freed from their hellish live and started a hellish live of their very own. I cannot help but to be interested in those two, especially in Nicolas. It’s hard not to have my eyes glued to the screen.Read More
I hate that Gangsta has been rescheduled to air on Sunday from now on. I have to rearrange my entire posting schedule again because of it. I watched both Gangsta and Himouto! Umaru-chan today and I want to write about Gangsta more.
I liked this episode in particular because it taught us a lot. We gained a lot of information on the characters and their background. We also learned a lot about that which makes them so special. We all know that A is the best class and that there are other, lower classes such as B, C and D. What we didn’t know is that those people all take a drug that enhance their abilities and, from what I could understand of it, shortens their lifespan if they’re not careful. It was an interesting plot to begin with, but it got so much better now that we know a bit more about the story.
Also, I had no idea that Worick was Nicolas’ boss. He, apparently, is the contractor and Nicolas has to do whatever he says in order to remain a “free” man. You’d think that people like that wouldn’t take such orders from “normals” and you’d definitely think that they wouldn’t let themselves get oppressed when they’re as strong as they are.
Nevertheless, that’s how their world works. There are rules that they must live by and that boy broke one of them. I cannot help but become interested in those two women and their so-called guild. The thought of Nicolas going in there one day to raise a little help does definitely sound appealing to me. Doubt something like that will ever happen though.Read More
