I suppose this was a pretty good ending if you compare it to other anime. I would love another season of this, but I highly doubt that we’ll get to see any more content any time soon (if ever). There’s still a possibility since they didn’t tie up all the loose ends.
We all knew that Qwenthur wouldn’t die. We knew that much. Being helped by the enemy is kind of embarrassing, asking them for their help afterwards was even worse but actually kneeling was the finisher. I know that he would do anything to help his friends, but kneeling for that cocky loli wasn’t cool no matter what.
But yeah, das wunderkind managed to pull of another miracle and ended up destroying the princess’ Object in order to prevent her from being killed by that A.I. controlled Object after hers was hijacked. What pisses me off is that that geezer wasn’t caught and that it ended with the princess landing into the arms of Qwenthur. That is why I hope for another season.Read More
I’ll be honest and say that I have no idea what they’re trying to accomplish. It’s all been about the same thing; taking out each other’s Objects. We’re just going ‘round and ‘round. The strange thing about that is that I wouldn’t mind another season of this.
This episode was actually kind of obvious. The characters in this show really don’t like to kill when they can just as well ‘talk’ it out. I mean, they sentenced that old geezer to prison after they caught him and now he’s about to start a new world war after escaping his imprisonment. I don’t even want to know how he escaped.
The point is; he is going to use the princess and her Object to start a global free for all with Objects and elites as the players. The irritating part is that the boys could’ve prevented it from happening if they had just destroyed that guy’s power supply by shooting up the cables or something. I didn’t see a back-up generator, so…Read More
I facepalmed myself multiple times while watching this week’s episode of Heavy Object. Qwenthur is pretty darn stupid for such a smart brat. I really don’t think that he’ll ever get any better when it comes to dealing with people.
Anyway, the boys pulled off yet another insane victory by using the enemy’s overwhelming firepower against them. Those six fake Objects were for the most part made of ceramic. All they had to do was make sure that there was enough heat to crack all that ceramic and bob’s your uncle. It was quite ingenious to be honest.
Now, it’s kind of disappointing that Qwenthur didn’t realize that those battle maids were part of that fake g-cup idol’s crew. Come on… It was so obvious that it was almost painful. How often do you see a bunch of women dressed as maids on a battlefield with guns, bombs and armoured vehicles? It truly was a facepalm moment.Read More
I am still very fond of warfare on snowy terrain. Very fond indeed. But this simply isn’t warfare. Our two little perverts always end up doing unpredictable and strange things that just raises a lot more questions in the end.
I did not expect that the boys would end up employing a bunch of hard-core girls in maid outfits in order to destroy the enemy Object and six incomplete/fake Objects. I know that an enemy could very well become a friend, but isn’t this just a little ridiculous? A bunch of military maids and their armoured vehicle are going to help out? Meh.
I’m sure that Qwenthur has already got some kind of plan to save that city full of immigrants from getting destroyed. They are the only ones that can save that granny and her family from being captured or killed. I have one or two theories, but I don’t think I’ve ever been right when it comes to predicting Qwenthur’s plans, so I won’t bother.Read More
Had a doctor’s appointment yesterday so I couldn’t write a post. Now I am in pain once again since the doctor didn’t want to prescribe any more painkillers since I might end up getting addicted to them if I take too many too often.
Anyway, as I write this with tears in my eyes (not of joy) I can honestly say that this episode made me realize something. It’s nothing major; I like snow scenes. Combat in snowy areas is so much better than watching them in the desert, jungle or a village or city. This is obviously just a personal quirk of mine, but hey… there you have it.
It was by no means a surprise to see the boys back in the field. They didn’t even bother with any smut this time. Perhaps that’s for the best. Or not. They are getting their asses handed to them by an enemy that’s constantly one step ahead of them. We all know the end result, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s going to be very interesting.Read More
Geez… Writing two posts is so much work nowadays. I had to work today, too, and I am tired. All I want to do is dive straight into my bed. Oh well… Writing a few posts and scheduling them for tomorrow is kind of relaxing, so I’m sure I’ll sleep better afterwards anyway.
So Qwenthur, as can only be expected, managed to beat his opponents once again by being all that he can be. And more. I thought it was superb how he lured that spy into a trap. Making sure that the explosion would cause diamonds to go flying around at high speed, piercing that mech in the process, was simply ingenious. Well done, author.
Fine, I guess stopping that enemy Object the way he did was kind of awesome too, but that bling-bling death scene was simply brilliant. I actually can’t wait for the boys to get sent on another mission. I wouldn’t mind watching more of this, especially if Qwenthur keeps stealing more and more hearts of the girls around him.Read More
I had just finished watching this week’s episode and I decided to check out the community forum on MAL to see what people had to say. I could not believe how many users seem surprised by what happened.
Don’t be surprised. It’s always about resources. It doesn’t matter what kind of resources. It could be information, a certain soldier, land or in this case diamonds. It’s just another battle over resources with a diamond mine as the main prize. I actually had put my money on rare metals, but I guess I wasn’t too far off on that one.
I must admit that I do find it interesting that their enemy wanted more than just that mine. They want to ruin the Legitimate Kingdom’s reputation by portraying them as tyrants. It was a well thought out plan that could’ve struck a huge blow. Once again it’s up to the boys to rescue their country by coming up with a brilliant plan to defeat the enemy Object. They’ll have to go through that spy first though.Read More
Well, the boys may not have been caught doing something perverted this time, but that doesn’t change the fact that they’re once again up against an enemy Object. Some things will never change no matter how hard you wish for it.
Havia has it good compared to Qwenthur right now, even though the guy doesn’t yet realize it. He doesn’t have to worry about a backstabbing spy that is killing people one by one. First that depressing student, now Qwenthur’s new lady friend has been shot and Qwenthur himself might be next during next week’s episode.
It might be a little obvious, sure, but we all know that the girl is going to live. Qwenthur will too. I don’t know how they will get out of that situation, but I do know that it’ll be fine if Qwenthur is given enough time to think. Either that or someone will show up to save those two at the last second. God forbid that they would throw in a little bit of romance though…Read More
