Heavy Object episode 16

Now this was a good episode. Although Qwenthur managed to complete his mission with a little bit of help from Havia and the princess, we all know that the boys will get sent out again in a week or two after they get caught being pervs again.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 16 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_05.02_[2016.01.31_01.08.31]So good ‘ol blondy managed to infiltrate the enemy Object in order to hold their elite, a no-cup girl, hostage with his little knife. This would’ve been a good plan if it was under normal circumstances. We finally learned why only a select few people are capable of piloting those Objects. It’s fine when those things are just standing still, but, apparently, when they are moving it’s as though you’re being shot out of a canon. The body is under so much pressure that maintaining consciousness is a challenge in itself.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 16 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_15.13_[2016.01.31_01.09.00]I thought it was pretty funny how Qwenthur managed to manipulate that no-cup elite into thinking that her own people didn’t care whether she lived or died and that they really only cared about the A.I. that helped control that Object. It’s because of his smooth-talking that she ended up ejecting, thereby bringing victory to his beloved princess.

A few things are certain here. We know that we’ll get to see more of that no-cup elite soon enough. Probably next week even. We also know that the boys will get caught doing something naughty again and that they will end up getting sent to another battlefield with another Object to defeat. The one thing that I am really waiting for right now is a bit of romance.

Heavy Object episode 15

Fantastic… I feel horrible. My muscles ache, I have a high fever and it feels as though nothing could possibly cheer me up. I felt even worse yesterday, which is why I didn’t bother to write a post.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 15 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_21.56_[2016.01.24_23.45.44]You’d think that the boys would learn. Every time they watch their dirty magazines or movies they get caught by their busty superior and get sent straight to another battlefield where they will have to risk their lives in order to destroy a hostile Object. You know they’re about to go to war again as soon as dirty books and such are involved.

We all knew that that self-proclaimed g-cup was in fact a no-cup brat. Qwenthur found that out at the end of the episode when he infiltrated her Object. We know that it’s not going to go down as he intended it, but we do know something interesting is about to happen now that he’s having a little moment no-cup.

Heavy Object episode 14

This has been a pretty good week. A lot of new anime, I’m almost done writing and scheduling posts now that I’m finishing up and all the shows seem to be doing pretty well right now. No disappointing episodes so far.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 14 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_16.11_[2016.01.17_01.06.03]I kind of already knew that there was no Object. They is one thing that has always been consistent throughout this entire show; things are never what they seem. There’s always a snake beneath the grass. Does that make it predictable? Not really. Even though you question it you still don’t know what’s about to happen.

This week that so-called engineer decided to take matters into his own hands by trying to kill the princess. It’s his mission to do what Qwenthur and Havia are doing right now; destroying Objects without an Object of their own. This led to him being captured. Now it’s just a matter of time to see which hostile Object the boys have to face next.

Heavy Object episode 12

Oooh! Sweet mother of all that is holy! I feel so ashamed for having to keep this post short. It does not do this episode any justice. Heavy Object was interesting when it started and it is still interesting now. Thank god I made the right choice with this one instead of messing up like I did with Shomin Sample.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 12 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_19.45_[2015.12.26_00.13.38]I will not beat around the bush; the boys once again managed to destroy another hostile Object with a little bit of help from their beloved princess. It was quite an interesting idea for Qwenthur to use his gun to send a message in Morse code. You just don’t see stuff like this in regular mecha-genre anime. That’s just one of the things that makes this show special.

Things just keep getting better. I mean, yeah, he ended up groping his superior’s breasts in full view of one of her potential marriage candidates in order to put him off of the idea of marrying her. Her reaction was absolutely priceless and I think that she, too, might eventually develop an interest in that reckless idiot. We have many good times ahead by the looks of it…

Heavy Object episode 11

What a great episode! It annoys me to no end that Heavy Object, a consistent show with a lot of interesting content, is still receiving mediocre reviews after all this time. Heavy Object is one of the most consistent shows of this moment where the episodes are constantly entertaining and interesting.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 11 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_04.10_[2015.12.19_00.12.50]Noragami has let me down a bit, Shomin Sample has let me down big-time, but Heavy Object has been going strong ever since it started. In fact, I dare say that they’ve been doing everything right so far. A lot of unexpected twists, plenty of action, lots of information about the shows without it getting too predictable and I don’t think it’s going to stop any time soon.

Now, I know I’ve said that it’s usually the same thing; the boys get sent on some mission where they at one point end up having to take down an Object. That might be true, in a way, but it’s the same with a lot of other shows. Besides, it’s not too obvious. It’s not like they are sent straight into battle. Something unexpected usually ends up happening.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 11 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_17.25_[2015.12.19_00.11.59]This week it was this unknown, high-end Object that they still haven’t encountered. It managed to launch a ridiculously powerful attack that already nearly destroyed one Object and did quite a lot of damage to the princess’ Object. It almost took out two Objects in a short amount of time. It is almost impossible to defeat an opponent if you can’t even get close. That being said; I’m sure that Qwenthur has an idea to get the job done as long as Havia stops those murderous nut jobs from destroying that dam and killing all those innocent civilians.

Heavy Object episode 10

I had to wait an extra week for this episode and I have to say that it was worth it. You’d think that the same pattern (boys get sent to some land governed by an Object, boys get in trouble and have to improvise a bit, boys emerge victorious somehow and repeat) would bore a person. I am still going strong with a smile on my face.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 10 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_08.04_[2015.12.11_23.58.35]It is safe to say that Heavy Object isn’t the same without a little bit of fan service between missions, right? Imagine the smile on my face when I saw their commander and their beloved princess try to put on a little show for the boys by doing a little bit of pole dancing. I won’t even question her explanation as to why that woman was so good at it either.

But yeah, that’s also when I knew that the boys were about to get sent out on a mission. Those two always seem to end up in unfortunate situations right after they were shown a few interesting things. And yeah; I still stand by what I said weeks ago; if you are willing to go that far then just let them get laid already.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 10 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_18.34_[2015.12.11_23.59.24]The situation might be a little different this time. Normally they’re up against known adversaries. They went up against an Object that attacked their base, they went up against an Object that used to dominate the ocean and they were up against an Object that they actually called ancient. This time might be different because they don’t seem to know much about this Object. Plus it’s built and maintained by a (wealthy?) conglomerate. God only knows what those guys managed to yank into existence. The boys might need a little bit more than a few pounds of explosives this time.

Heavy Object episode 09

I had to work late today so this post will have to be short. I hate it but I don’t have much of a choice at the moment. I don’t even have the time to write this post to be honest, but this show is so great that I’ll just do it anyway and sleep half an hour less today.

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 09 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_00.58_[2015.11.28_00.40.53]This episode was great because not only did the boys got sent on yet another mission, but we actually found out that Havia is kind of engaged. Not only is the guy engaged, but he’s also from a very wealthy family and so is the girl that he’s engaged to. Why the hell did it take this long for this to come to light? This is kind of messed up.

I’ll admit that I no longer get the point of Havia being in the army. He comes from a wealthy family if I understood right. I definitely wouldn’t have fight against machines that are a thousand times bigger than me if I came from a wealthy family. It’s just not worth the risk. It just makes me want to know more and more. I hope they’ll tell us more about it next week.

Heavy Object episode 08

You’d have to be stupid if you couldn’t see this one coming. I mean, they focusses on it so much last week and now I read some posts by shocked Heavy Object fans. Are you insane or did someone just troll you with inacurrate subtitles?

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 08 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_01.23_[2015.11.20_23.32.41]What it all comes down to; the boys got betrayed by one of their superiors. He, some fat guy with a big rank, thought that it’d be best to get rid of those two boys since they’ve become famous for destroying Objects all on their own. He wanted to make sure that the world went back to the way it was; the country with the most Objects rules the world. Thought of people being capable of taking down Objects without an Object of their own scared the living daylight out of him that he decided to betray his own men. To think that he’d have such a big mouth there at the end…

[Ohys-Raws] Heavy Object - 08 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_15.33_[2015.11.20_23.33.16]Anyway, those two perverts did it. They managed to destroy yet another Objects without any help. They got pushed into a corner and once again emerged victorious. The one thing that bothers me a little (but only a little) is how a lot of those mechs look alike. They have the same kind of guns and canons, shapes and colour. There have been exceptions (like this week’s next-gen mech or that huge sea mech) but the rest really looks very similar. I wouldn’t call that a bad thing but it does give the impression that the author may have been a little lazy. Could be that there’s a catch behind it (maybe a lot of nations simply tried to copy a certain Object when it first came out).
