Inu x Boku SS episode 03

Oh boy, here we go again on yet another strange adventure as we dive into a world where very little makes sense. I noticed that the ratings for Inu x Boku SS have slightly dropped, but just slightly. I’m not entirely sure why it happened, but I for one am still as amused as ever when watching Inu x Boku SS, so it’s all good.

So we embark upon yet another emotional episode as one conflict appears after the other. It was very confusing, but the gist of it all is that Ririchiyo did not like Soushi’s actions. You see, Soushi was confessed to by a certain girl. He, as to be expected, turned her down gently, upon which she said something like; “Okay, I will give up on you, but you have to give me a kiss first”. So Soushi, having agreed to her request, gave her a gentle and emotionless kiss.

Ririchiyo did not have any problems with him kissing her, or so she claims. No, her problems were that he was so emotionless. He did it as though it was nothing, as though her feelings didn’t mean anything. Ririchiyo thought that Soushi was the same as everyone else, the same as the people who only see her as some girl from a wealthy family, which is why she announced the contract between herself and Soushi void.

Things took a turn for the worse as Ririchiyo started getting more and more nervous around people. She was constantly walking around at the party and talked like a stuck-up b*tch when actually spoken to. I can somewhat understand that, as I myself aren’t that talkative. Still, she has major issues that need to be resolved.

It got worse when two boys from her school started talking negatively about her, upon which Soushi meddled by throwing a drink at them. He refused to let anyone badmouth Ririchiyo, despite being fired by her. Ririchiyo was speechless for a while as she listened to what he had to say. Things soon worked out as the two of them reunited as mistress and dog, just like before.

Ririchiyo was just unsure. Hell, she was afraid that she was going to get hurt again. You see, Ririchiyo used to have people she cared about, but those very same people turned out to be phonies. The people themselves were real, but it was their affection towards Ririchiyo that turned out to be faked. They only talked to her, smiled to her and listened to her because of her status, whatever that may be. But she soon realized that Soushi wasn’t like that, that he was for real, that the feelings he has for her come straight from his heart. That is why they ended up getting back together.

I must’ve dropped quite a few confusing things in this post, sorry about that. The episode itself was pretty confusing as well. Nobara, that big-breasted pervert, sure as hell didn’t make it any easier to follow. She was just being her perverted self. Still, the episode had a good ending as everyone went home happy.

Inu x Boku SS episode 02

Fine, just one more! I wanted to go to bed, but not before finishing up this post after watching yet another amusing episode of Inu x Boku SS. The ratings for this show kind of surprised me, because I thought that they would’ve been a little higher. The show’s average is now roughly a measly 7.75 out of 10. Not a bad rating, I know, but I simply that thought that the ratings would be slightly higher.

You know… I would like to see Ririchiyo go completely wild once, just to see what’s she’s capable of. Something tells me that that’s going to take a few more episodes for something like that to happen, especially with her persistent slave following her around all the time.

You know what caught my attention? Renshou has been in his Youkai form a lot lately. He never used to be in his Youkai form, but he changed a little after the attack in episode one. I know that Ririchiyo is aware of it, she knew since the beginning. But still, I find it very strange.

But the only thing on Ririchiyo’s mind was a certain event in the past, or to be more specific; a point in the past where she may have saved Soushi’s life, resulting in him being so dreadfully loyal. She didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about it, as she had a lot of shopping to do. You know how most girls are when it comes to shopping… all the important things get put on hold while the fun stuff gets top priority.

The fun didn’t last long though. Ririchiyo got attacked after quite a bit of shopping, and that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. We got to see Ririchiyo’s Youkai form for the first time! She was pretty strong for such a little girl, but that was by no means her best, which is why I want to see her go wild.

Everything turned out fine. Ririchiyo and her friends were safe, that enemy Youkai was defeated and they were all in time to enjoy their party. Also, Ririchiyo has made a lot of progress during this episode, as she is now a lot more comfortable when it comes to Soushi always being around. I’m pretty sure both Soushi and Renshou noticed her improvement as well.

It’s going to get a lot more interesting from now on, especially with Ririchiyo using her supernatural abilities. This love-hate comedy has a lot more in store for us and I can’t wait to find out what it is. I just hope that the groups behind the fansubs for Inu x Boku SS don’t decide to suddenly stop subbing this show, because that tends to happen a lot nowadays, especially when it comes to comedies.
