K: Return of Kings episode 05

What is going on with this slow pace? Things were going so smoothly but it seems to be stagnating. Just get on with it already. I’m all for a bit of storytelling, but this is ridiculous. They’re doing nothing but talk at the moment.

[Leopard-Raws] K - Return of Kings - 05 RAW (TBS 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_05.52_[2015.11.02_00.18.25]I think the best moment was when Yashiro went to the former Gold King’s domain and met with his followers. I found it rather impressive and moving that his clansmen still remained loyal after all this time. I cannot help but feel a great deal of respect for characters like that. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of this sort of thing.

These series have always been about loyalty. Now these slates are starting to get more important and the fact that the Blue King is being very possessive of them is becoming an issue. I just hope this ‘calm before the storm’ stuff ends here. I want answers to my questions and I don’t think I’ll get a lot of those if they keep talking about obvious stuff.

K: Return of Kings episode 04

Hum… Not exactly the kind of episode that I was expecting after the Silver King finally returned again. There was very little action and not a lot of progress if you ask me. In fact, there is very little that I want to say about this episode.

[Ohys-Raws] K Return of Kings - 04 (TBS 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_07.17_[2015.10.25_22.38.24]Yeah, Yashiro has returned and it seems that it’s only a matter of time before Neko gets her memories back, but that’s really all there is to it. I honestly don’t think there’s much more to say. Yashiro showed up and everyone just stopped fighting and returned to their base. Not at all what I was expecting to be very honest.

I don’t even what to go over the fact that Yashiro isn’t going to get access to those slates. He may know quite a bit about them and whatever it is that they do, but that Blue King refuses to let him have anything to do with it. He basically just monopolized them and uses Yashiro’s absence as an excuse to remain in control. Doesn’t really matter anyway since his time is running out.

K: Return of Kings episode 03

I’m glad they aren’t making us wait long since there are only thirteen episodes. We now have all the main characters present on that island so the war between kings can finally begin (or not). I just hope that this isn’t the final season. This is such a huge success…

[Ohys-Raws] K Return of Kings - 03 (TBS 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_21.50_[2015.10.17_23.54.01]Anyway, Yashiro has returned to come to his clansmen’s aid. He refused to let that gay-looking guy do as he pleases and I’m really hoping that he’ll actually fight him in Kurou’s stead (or somehow give Kurou the power to fight). What can I say? It’s good to see them back together. He should be quite interesting now that he actually knows what’s going on.

Also, it seems that Neko is starting to remember things as well, which will probably end up causing more problems in the end. Nevertheless, things are picking up. The green, blue and red kings are aware of Yashiro’s, the silver king’s, return and will act accordingly. A battle royal between four superpowers… How awesome would that be!?

K: Return of Kings episode 02

I still remember writing about the first season. I know it was somewhere in 2012, but I still remember it quite well. It had an interesting start and a very good ending, which is something you don’t see very often anymore.

[Ohys-Raws] K Return of Kings - 02 (TBS 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_14.34_[2015.10.11_23.47.44]How could I not write about the second season? Watching Neko and that busty blonde makes it all worthwhile. And this season seems ever so promising now that we already know that Yashiro is the Silver King and that the Blue King’s time is almost up. I’m also hoping that we get to meet the other kings as well.

K has simply done very well. There are two season and a movie and I’m sure there’s more to come. I, at this point, just want to see Yashiro return to help deal with that JUNGLE nonsense. I’m not going to deny that the Green King is brilliant by obtaining clansmen this way. In fact, it gives the blue’s and red’s free target practice. I just want to see more of it.

K: Return of Kings

And here it is again! The anime whose name is probably the shortest ever; K! The first season took my completely by surprise. I loved watching it and I’m sure I’m going to love the second season just as much.

K Return of KingsThe first episode really packed a real punch. A lot of awesome action and I simply love how they’ve done it. It’s like watching an awesome movie. Very high quality stuff. The level of detail is simply superb. Besides, watching that busty blonde makes it all worthwhile even if the artwork wasn’t as good as this.

The first season had a pretty solid story. Very hard to predict and full of interesting twists and drama. I am very hopeful that this season is going to be even better with the Blue King now running out of time as well.

I absolutely do recommend this. I am quite find of shows where the characters have supernatural powers. If those shows happen to have artwork as good as this one and a story to match then I’m pretty much sold from start to finish.

Plot Summary: In modern Japan there are seven “Kings” who share power with their fellow clansmen. The Blue King Reishi Munakata, the leader of the Blue Clan “Scepter 4,” held great responsibilities on his back. The tower that Gold King Daikaku Kokujōji supervised called the “Dresden Slate” was still on his mind, and he felt a great burden by killing the previous Red King, Mikoto Suoh. On the other hand, the former Red Clan “HOMRA” clansman Anna Kushina experienced the attacks from the Green Clan “Jungle” and awakened as the next Red King. By doing this, she bound her comrades through a strong bond once again. Finally, White Clan members Neko and Kuroh believe that the White King Yashiro is still alive, and seek his whereabouts. However, it was not just them searching for the White King. With “Jungle” once again jumping back into action, the fates of the various Kings are brought together.
