… Are you kidding me? You cannot seriously call this an ending. I have been waiting for weeks, wondering how they were going to end this thing. This was just horrible, absolutely horrible. There could only be one reasonable explanation for this, and that’s if there’s going to be yet another season, which I have heard nothing of yet.
Ayumu and the girls have been training, preparing and arguing amongst themselves for several episodes now. All of them were preparing (in their own ways) to face Chris and her monstrous powers. Did they face Chris though? No. Did they even actually train? No. They sat and played around with it all. The only exciting part of this episode was when Ayumu lost his memories and another personality took over his body. The only reason why that would excite anyone is because there may have been a possibility where he would’ve done something ecchi to one of the girls, but no…
Here’s another stinger; we got introduced to a new character; a busy redhead. She was supposedly at least as strong as Chris, being able to use all sorts of insane powers. Did she use any of them in the end? No. She only ended up drinking sake with Chris at some food stand. It stings people, it really stings. I had so many expectations of this anime, even though it’s just one big comedy.
I can only hope that we will hear more about this during the next few days. Maybe a third season or some OVA’s that would end things, but not like this… This was just stupid. This doesn’t say “goodbye”, this says “I’ll be back, soon”. For the love of god, please do not let me down.Read More
Okay, I’m seriously worried right now. The next episode will be the last, and I see no way for an ending. Well, I do see one way; Ayumu will once again get screwed over by fate, end up with a lot of girls and a lot of troubles, and the ending will be strange as hell with no actual explanation. Oh lord, if you exist, please let this great anime have a great ending!
The story continues as Ayumu is after a way to defeat Chris, a rogue Mahou Shoujo that regained her powers thanks to Ayumu and his friends. They showed us a story between the underworld and the world of magic. It’s a very long and interesting story, but it all comes down to this; both sides have their respective leaders. Not actual political leaders, but simply the strongest of the strongest. Chris is supposed to be the strongest of the Mahou Shoujo’s. Naegleria, an old acquaintance of Eu-chan, is supposed to be the strongest of the underworld, also known as Megalo’s.
Basically, Ayumu spent the whole episode searching and persuading this Naegleria person, a busty redheaded mangaka, into helping him defeat Chris before it’s too late. The whole group joined him after a ridiculous misunderstanding, only to end up drawing a manga. The group helped her out with her manga, so hopefully she will help them out with Chris, huh? Kind of plain, but alright, I’ll go with the flow.
The episode was really strange, especially since the second season is going to end next week. It was nice to see that Saras’ attitude towards Ayumu has changed a bit. She’s a lot kinder and happier, I like that. It’s only a matter of time before Sera follows the same path and succumbs to her feelings for Ayumu. I have said it before and I’ll say it again; Ayumu is the luckiest bastard with the worst luck (mindf*ck alert).Read More
Now this was seriously messed up. I watched this episode and now I’m confused. What’s the point of reintroducing everyone’s favourite serial killer, Kyoko? There are only two episodes left, and yet Ayumu has to find a way to stop Chris from doing whatever it is she plans on doing, help EU-chan with her curse, and complete his harem.
What is one to do when he shares his room with a busty serial killer that has been locked up from the outside world for god only knows how long? Well, apparently, letting yourself get used, misled and stabbed is one of the options. Some may call Ayumu a worthless insect (we all know whom), but it turns out that he’s an excellent punching bag, so at least he’s good for something.
Ayumu came up with the idea to hold a mixer. Everyone came, including Kyoko and Ariel, which wasn’t all that surprising. They initiated this strange game where a ‘king’ gets appointed and tells two of his ‘pawns’ to do something strange. The ‘pawns’ have to do whatever it is the king asks of them. Yeah, how could that possibly go wrong…?
This all led to some alone time between Ayumu and Kyoko, where he got stabbed by Kyoko’s blade, the same blade that killed him as a human. Apparently Kyoko has this curse. A curse that will make people forget all about her. She was just afraid of being forgotten, which is why she came to Ayumu, hoping that he wouldn’t forget about her. I highly doubt that he ever will. You killed the guy, after which he was turned into a zombie by EU-chan, and now you’re actually stabbing him again? Unforgettable. At this point I only hope that the story will get a little bit more serious soon, because there are only two episodes left and I would love to see a proper ending to the story.Read More
Oh boy, things are about to get ugly. The final ‘boss’ has finally shown itself and is now terrorizing the village people. This episode was very difficult to watch. At one point I got kind of serious, but the things started getting funny again. It was hard to be serious when I was practically being forced to laugh. So a few characters might die huh? No problem, we’ll just throw in a sh*tload of comedy.
The funny thing is that I actually had no idea when the episode had just started. I was actually a bit confused, I mean… Eu-chan was talking all of a sudden. That was a pretty big surprise, especially since it’s the first thing you see when you start watching the episode. You just can’t prepare yourself for something like that, which is actually a good thing.
It seems that Haruna-chan, a self-proclaimed genius, built yet another contraption that allowed her to store Eu’s mana into this little portable device. However, this transferred Eu’s curse on Haruna, the one with the device on her person when it happened. This means that Haruna-chan has to write notes, just like Eu-chan used to, to avoid that extreme pain. Funny how things work out, huh?
I would like to take this opportunity to say that I actually enjoyed it. I think Eu-chan deserves a little bit of worry-free time after all the things that she has been through. Haruna is a big girl now, so shouldering a friend’s pain for a day or two wouldn’t kill her. In fact; it’s something that she could do more often, or any other person for that matter.
Anyway, the person we need to focus on is Chris-chan, a Mahou Shoujo that is forced to live as a man from time to time, but we all know her as Ayumu’s hallucination; Miss Fairy. It turns out that she was a real person, and that she was waiting for someone with a lot of mana, someone who could build a device to store all that mana and someone with a ring that can control all that mana. Sound familiar? That’s right; everyone in the Ayumu fan club was being used by her, basically.
It’s still not over yet either. It seems that Ariel might unleash yet another Mahou Shoujo monster upon the earth, merely because she knows Chris’ weakness. When is it enough? Most of Ayumu’s enemies were (ex)Mahou Shoujo’s. I think it’s time for Ariel to take responsibility for once and step in herself, instead of letting other people clean up her own mess. I wonder why no one has ever said anything to her about that. You’d think that Sera (or any other vampire ninja_ would’ve said something about it being her responsibility and such. Oh well…Read More
It arrived a bit late, but better late than never. I just didn’t have the energy to finish this post last night. I’m amazing I even managed to schedule Naruto Shippuuden in time. Still, this episode is well worth the effort, especially since it raised the bar again on ridiculous comedy.
Never have I seen the “I’ll be back” terminator line getting raped like this, and not nearly as many times in a timespan of twenty minutes. Oh, and nor did I ever imagine that it would come from a magical chainsaw called Mystletainn. But yeah, Ayumu and Haruna have their beloved chainsaw back. Poor guy thought it would help him improve his current situation, although I can’t see how. How can a transformation from average-looking dude to raging queen help him?
I know I just said that, but his potential girlfriend count keeps rising with each passing episode. How the hell does he keep doing that? He appears in that outfit and girls still keep falling in love with him. Almost makes me want to dress up like that and parade through town (keep in mind that I’m still half asleep here, so I say stupid things from time to time).
The real interesting bit was the introduction of a new character; some guy that couldn’t stop vomiting blood. Seriously, how do these guys come up with this? Freakin’ genius. He gave Ayumu this ‘special’ ring during their encounter, but never had I imagined that it would be used like that. This makes his life all the more complicated, and is sure to bite him in the ass later on. Isn’t that normal with everything he does? He tries to help someone and it only ends up backfiring on him. People would start to think that no good deed goes unpunished.
I’m sure we all know the cute and busty Yuki. Well, she has this insane defence mechanism when she passes out and whatnot. The only way to stop her from destroying herself and everything around her was to put that ring on her finger. That’s right, do you see the complication here? Ayumu put that ring on her finger, supressed that power and now he has to deal with an overly excited Yuki. You see, Yuki was under the impression that it was some kind of an engagement ring or something. This will make things so much more complicated for Ayumu. It’s really funny how life keeps kicking him in the face. I can’t wait till the next episode!Read More
Hmm, now this was a surprisingly amusing episode. Don’t get me wrong, they’re all good, but this one was a little bit different. It had a lot more gag-type comedy in it, and I actually enjoyed that, even though this week’s episode wasn’t all that ‘positive’.
The episode started out pretty harmlessly. Sera-chan was away with the rest of the vampire ninja’s, Haruna was her usual self and Eu-chan was still eating and drinking as time passed on. Yeah, pretty normal, until Eu-chan suddenly got sick because she ate too much, and I quote; “forbidden fruit”. I know, it sounds a little bit ridiculous, but you have to get passed that, I did.
So anyway, Eu-chan was sick throughout the entire episode. Ayumu and Haruna both felt responsible for her and did everything they could to help her. Ayumu panicked because it seemed like she was suffering, which is why he called Anderson to help him out. Seriously, that guy is the last person you’d want by your side when you’re sick. I do have to thank him though, for making Ayumu do that dance. That was absolutely the best.
Things didn’t seem to go right. Ayumu was doing ridiculous, perverted and pointless stuff because Anderson told him to, and he ended up hurt because Haruna-chan thought he was doing perverted things to Eu-chan. Now that isn’t anything new. That poor guy gets kicked around a lot by them. The thing that surprised me here is that those idiots actually managed to cure Eu-chan, although Haruna-chan ended up catching the common cold, which in turn led to Ayumu getting his ass kicked again by Seraphim. Seriously, they always catch that poor bastard at the worst possible moment.
It was quite the strange episode, indeed. But I think that things will start to change for the worse soon, now that his enemy is getting closer and closer. That was the reason for Sera-chan’s absence, to discuss this unknown enemy. One thing is certain, and that’s that Ayumu is once again standing in the middle of it all. He really is unfortunate, despite living in a house with three cute girls. Hell, even I would be willing to take a few punches to live in that house.Read More
Seriously, this anime baffles me each and every time. I set a certain line for each anime. A line that I’d like to call my “WTF-line”. I don’t think that I need to explain what that line means, but let us just say that this anime manages to cross that line each and every time. Just when I think it doesn’t get any freakier… Japan truly is a strange, yet beautiful country.
I understand that this is a comedy before anything else, but really? Is it really necessary for Ayumu to involve Full Metal Panic? Mind you, I laughed like hell, but really? I already know that Haruna would end up destroying his precious toys, nothing new there, but I never expected what was about to come next. Hell, I don’t think anyone was expecting to see… that.
I’m still not entirely sure, even though I watched it twice, but how could it possibly go from the point where Ayumu loses yet another pleasure in life, to a point where he ends up in this cosplay café from hell with his friend Orito. I don’t think I need to tell anyone that everyone, including that ass-loving vampire ninja, was there to put Ayumu to the test.
You know, most people would think of cute girls with shirts maid-type skirts when they hear about one of those cafés. No, not in this anime it’s not. It’s all about S&M, apparently. It was all about Haruna dressing up as a cute maid, Yuki as some sort of mountaineer, Sera as a dominatrix, and Eucli-chan as the cutest little maid ever. This is where people would ask why. Well, basically; just because they can. I’m not going to dance around the fact that they supposedly did it to test Ayumu, but still…
It is amazing how this anime keeps me amused. It comes as no shock to me that this has such high rating. I’ll say it once more; the only thing wrong with Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? of the Dead is that it only has ten episodes. I would’ve given at least twice as much. Knowing that this anime is going to end in a few weeks is just sad, which is why I’m going to make the most of it.Read More
Ahh~ this episode made my day. I think the head-on comedy assault is nearing its end, seeing as Ayumu’s latest adversary is about to make his/her appearance. I’m pretty sure that they will find a way to make it funny as hell, but not too funny I hope. We mustn’t forget that this anime also revolves around a lot of action.
Well, time goes on, even in Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? of the Dead, and that’s not a good thing for poor Ayumu. His life keeps getting a lot more complicated, especially now that Sera-chan is constantly looking at his ass. Sara has filled her head with this nonsense about his great his ass is, and how great butt love is and whatnot. It was a difficult episode to watch. I personally am not a fan of male panty shots, but maybe that’s just me (I seriously hope not)? Poor Ayumu even consulted with the show’s drunk, a cute fairy lookalike. Things just rarely go his way, and that’s part of this anime’s charm. Never give the guy a break, just make sure the women are fine. Sigh…
I know that I sound a little bit negative about this week’s episode, but do not get the wrong impression! I really liked this episode. I’m just not good with all those gay-ish scenes, even though those panty shots of Ayumu don’t bother me that much anymore. Besides, I almost threw up a lung when I couldn’t stop laughing during that concert scene. That was hilarious.
I am looking forward to the next episode. I can’t wait to see their new enemy. Oh, and I would like to see if Sera-chan will fall for Ayumu as well. That should be pretty interesting, even though we already have a vampire ninja that stalks him nonstop. Imagine having another one that lives in the same house as him. Priceless.Read More
