Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead episode 02

Oh happy day! I was waiting patiently all day yesterday when I saw that episode two had aired. Still, why is it that I went to bed with a broken heart after it didn’t arrive yesterday? Just kidding, I can always wait an extra day or two. Waiting for a new Bakuman episode taught me that I can always wait a little bit extra for twenty minutes worth of happiness.

Oh how I laughed during this episode. I am so happy to see that it’s back, even though it only has ten episodes this time. I always say that something is always better than nothing. Anyway, the story took an unexpected twist. I was certain that Ayumu would get kicked around by his friends after that little incident on school grounds, but it was actually quite the opposite. He got a little famous because of that little stunt. Magazines featured guys in the exact same outfit, which in turn caused every student in the school to flock around him, hoping that he would give them his autograph. Life is funny sometimes, isn’t it?

I think that Sarasvati-chan, Ayumu’s latest admirer, played a great role in him becoming famous. She is truly a master of the net. She posted pictures on her website, spread them around and did god only knows what else to get him so famous. She truly is a strange girl, falling in love in such a manner. I don’t think that there are many women that would fall in love with a guy if he were to wear women’s clothing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are quite a few out there that would, but I don’t think that people like that should be allowed to reproduce. Just the thought of it makes me want to cry.

Meanwhile Yuki-chan invited Ayumu to join her for a hiking trip in the mountains. I grinned at her disappointment when she found out that the rest of Ayumu’s household joined as well. They all say that they came along because they all like Yuki-chan, but I’m sure that we all know better. They all came along because they wanted to be able to monitor the situation between him and Yuki.

However, things became slightly more complicated when Haruna-chan attracted some of the local wildlife and used Ayumu as a shield to escape. That poor guy, this was supposed to be a romantic evening…

I can’t wait for next week’s episode. I am really curious about what’s going to happen when Sera-chan finds out that Sarasvati confessed her love to Ayumu. Those two are, from what I understand, rivals. I’m sure that Sera-chan has some feelings for Ayumu as well, so I’m rather curious about what happens next.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead

YES! I am so hype about this that I decided to write this post right after watching the first episode.  I am a total fan, so my opinions may seem biased to some, but I can assure you that I won’t let it go that far. The only thing wrong with Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead is that it only has ten confirmed episodes, as the other two are still unconfirmed.

Let’s start, shall we? The artwork is still the same as ever, although they applied a few small changes. Some expressions are a bit different and Ayumu suddenly has (new) nipples now. It’s definitely pretty nice to see, although I do wish that they wouldn’t focus so much on Ayumu’s panty shots. There’s only so much that I can take. Oh, and they introduced a new character right away, so I’m rather curious about that too.

The story is still the same as ever; fight crime whilst wearing a perverted outfit, only to listen to the disappointing complaints of your friends afterwards. Love it. I cannot begin to explain here how much I laughed at the first episode, especially during that squid scene where Ayumu’s ass was being groped. I only hope that there is going to be a lot more romance in this second season, the rest is perfect as it is.

I definitely recommend this anime. Watch it, enjoy it, and slowly lose consciousness as you laugh uncontrollably. NarutoSD’s comedy looks like a cheap, pointless and retarded waste of time compared to this.

Plot Summary: Aikawa Ayumu is a normal high school boy. One day he is killed by a serial killer and revived as a zombie by a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe. He starts to serve Eu as her guard but he happens to deprive the mahou shoujo Haruna of her magic power. Haruna orders Ayumu to fight against the anti-mahou shoujo system “Megalo” in her place.
