And so ends yet another memorable show. In the end the scene that I wanted to see the most never happened. Too bad. The ending is kind of annoying though. It makes you think that there’s more coming, even though nothing’s been confirmed yet.
I honestly don’t care that certain things about Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei were rather predictable. Everyone knew that Tatsuya was going to dominate every single one of his enemies. We all knew. I knew before these whole ordeal even began. No need to go online and post garbage comments on anime forums, which is something that a lot of people are doing right now. What’s the point? Tatsuya saved a few of his friends, protected his little sister and defeated everyone in his path. Absolutely nothing wrong with that outcome if you ask me.
Now, I do hate the fact that that Chinese b*st*rd seems to have gotten away. He helped those people over and over again and in the end didn’t get punished for it. I wouldn’t have been at all surprised if he was the mastermind behind all of it, but I can’t see what he could possibly gain from it. I doubt he’s after money.
But still, I don’t really like that it ended with a kind of cliff-hanger. Tatsuya and Miyuki are to visit their aunt because that major is coming over. That’s how it ended. It just makes you think that there’s something else… And I certainly didn’t like the idea of Tatsuya being chained like a dog by someone in order to keep him under control and obedient. Oh well… An overall great experience.Read More
I was a bit worried. I thought that this was the final episode. I saw the ending and had a crazy look on my face, when I suddenly saw “Next week…” That just isn’t funny. I forgot that this show has twenty-six episodes and not twenty-five.
So all hell has finally broken loose. An army of armed terrorists has taken the city by surprise and is currently shooting everything up. It is kind of sad when they attack a school meeting, it is sadder when they actually attack the students, but we kind of reach the very bottom of sadness when those very students are actually kicking their asses. Slowly their soldiers are being picked off one by one as the students, whom don’t have to rely on weapons, use their magical abilities to get rid of those non-magical terrorists. Grown men being killed by high school teenagers… How shameful.
There is one thing that I did not like. Actually, it isn’t that I disliked it, it’s just that I’m rather disappointed by it. They put Tatsuya in a suit that he invented. Tatsuya is completely covered and you can’t tell it’s him. Also, it would seem as though his magical powers haven’t gotten stronger since Miyuki did something to him last week.
I am quite interested in the final episode. The students appear to be safe now. Tatsuya, after saving a few more lives, took off to go to the front lines in order to deal with those invaders. I just hope that I still get to see that one scene that I’ve wanted to see for months now; a scene where Tatsuya deals with his family once and for all. That probably won’t happen though, will it?Read More
I am forced to keep this post short and simple due to a severe lack of free time today. Mind you, this episode definitely deserves a review of at least three hundred words. Just calling it epic wouldn’t be enough. I have a good feeling about the ending…
So the convention got attacked by terrorists with guns. How boring. It took Tatsuyu a couple of seconds to turn things around. It just goes to show that that guy is a natural born leader. He shouldn’t be following that major. They should be following him. The fact that he led that group to safety just proves my point.
And did you see the look on everyone’s faces when they found out that Tatsuya was a secret agent and that they were forced to keep his identity a secret? Finally some well-deserved recognition. It was foolish of them to even think that Tatsuya was like them. God… This episode was so wonderful that I might actually watch it again tomorrow. I’m completely hooked right now.
Anyway, I don’t know if all the students are safe. They are bound to encounter more terrorists. All Tatsuya can do now, especially now that his true identity has been revealed, is fulfil his mission. That last scene where Miyuki did something to Tatsuya was the cherry on top of the cake. Many theories are already going through my head (the more likely one is that Tatsuya can finally use his “full power” now that Miyuki undid some magic of some kind). I can’t wait to see next week’s episode, even though we all already know that Tatsuya is going to defeat every single one of those terrorists himself is he has to. That’s just the kind of overpowered main character that he is.
P.S. I am fully aware that I failed to keep this post short and simple. What can I say? This episode made me want to write.Read More
Just two more episodes left. This means that the final battle is at hand. I kind of knew that it would be going this way. Last week’s episode was just too damn strange as the pace suddenly broke the sound barrier. This makes sense again… I think.
I could not believe that a group of high school students could take down an experienced, powerful magician like Lu. That guy rampages through anything, so for him to be taken down that easily was just complete nonsense. Things starting making sense again when they already planned his rescue, even though I actually started to think that him getting captured like that was part of their plan. This just means that Lu, the boss’ right hand man, is an important powerhouse in their organization and that they need him to obtain the artefact that Tatsuya currently has hidden.
I’m also not a very big fan of recruiting former enemies. I say former because the enemy in question, Chiaki, no longer seems to be a threat. They just want her at this point because she’s the school’s second best engineer (Tatsuya, of course, being the best) and they think they can profit from her being on their side.
Now, I did not fully understand that exhibit at the end of the episode, nor am I very interested in it. I just want to see how Tatsuya will handle this situation without letting people find out about his true identity. His sister must’ve been present to watch their presentation, so I’m guessing that Tatsuya will go on a rampage again after they endangered his sister’s wellbeing.Read More
Just a couple of episodes left before Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei has finished airing. Can you already see the ending? I can. I see Tetsuya standing strong as one of Japan’s strongest magicians. Overpowered main characters are awesome!
I was both surprised and at the same time not at all surprised when I saw Tatsuya go about his routine. I know that sounds very strange and pretty much impossible, but at one point I thought that he would go on the offensive. He’s not the type of person that sits idly by as his friends and family are being targeted by some mysterious organisation. At the same time I thought that he wouldn’t be fazed by any of this because he knows that he is stronger and that his friends can defend themselves very well. He was just more focussed on catching more enemies spies, in which he succeeded quite nicely I might add.
I was surprised the most by that big guy. He always seemed so strong and careful, so to see him go out in the open like that was kind of strange. Not only did he simply reveal himself, he just attacked head-on as though he thought that he couldn’t get hurt by a bunch of kids. He won’t be trying that again anytime soon after his second attempt failed. Or will he? It all seemed to go a bit too easy if you ask me…
Let’s just quickly summarize this episode right now. Tatsuya caught yet another rat, his friends caught that big shot, Miyuki nearly stole a kiss when her brother was sleeping and the enemy, although supposedly wounded after the events of late, seems to be planning an all or nothing attempt to find and steal that artefact. That’s right; good times are ahead.Read More
I honestly don’t understand this episode. So many strange events and so many vague scenes… What can I expect from this, I wonder? At this point I’m just waiting for Tatsuya to go wild again. Just let him annihilate all the enemies.
So the girl that tried to spy (and sabotage?) Tatsuya’s work has finally been caught. She returned when he was doing god only knows what, only to be seen by one of Tatsuya’s friends whom recognized the device she was using to hack his computer. She ran away again, just like last time, but got caught in the end. You’d think that they would no longer acknowledge her as someone from the same school, but they brought her to the nurse’s office and treated her like she were the queen. They didn’t even bother tying her up or something. What a pointless turn of events…
I just hope I get to see something nice before the show ends. Leonhart seems to have a thing for Erika, which probably got stronger after catching a glimpse of her half naked body. Mikihiko and Mizuki like each other even though they’re both too shy to do anything about it right now. Seriously, a little bit of romance at the end would do this show a lot of good.
Anyway, it’ll probably end with Tatsuya saving the day again. Those terrorists (if I can call them that) are after the technology that Tatsuya’s currently working on. It’s only a matter of time before Tatsuya has to face them and my money’s on him. It wouldn’t be his first time to take down an evil organisation and it probably wouldn’t be his last.Read More
I wanted to try and describe this episode as the quiet before the storm, but characters died and Tatsuya was spied on. I can hardly call that quiet. I guess the “war” has begun. Too bad for those guys that they don’t stand a chance against the almighty Tatsuya.
I am short on time so I will be keeping this post short and simple. They tried to spy on Tatsuya. I, of course, say tried because Tatsuya noticed it immediately and put a stop to it. This just means that people are interested in what he’s working on. The fact that they tried to hack him proves how serious they are about it.
Even his friends are being followed and engaged one of them in combat. He may have escaped because he pulled a weak trick after he had been defeated, but it didn’t matter anyway, seeing as his own people killed him in the end. It’s only a matter of time before they try a full frontal attack when they realize that underhanded methods don’t work on Tatsuya and his friends. We’ll see…Read More
Aha, okay. The final battle is finally in sight, huh? I have yet to encounter an enemy worthy of Tatsuya’s attention. It’s all been a bunch of fools and pansies that can fight from away through mindless pawns. Didn’t they know that you have to do it yourself if you want things to be done right?
So Tatsuya accepted yet another job that wasn’t his to begin with. He has been doing this a lot. I actually started asking myself what the point of it was. The wall that separates course one students (Blooms) from course two students (Weeds) is still standing strong and doesn’t appear to be cracked. So what if Tatsuya is a student council member and helped defeat the strongest school in the tournament with two other course two students? It doesn’t really matter of people continue to treat those students the same as before. It just seems pointless, that’s all.
So this character shows up, a woman, and things just go south. This woman has a dreadful look on her face and looks as though she’s about to attack. This woman, Sayuri, married their father six months after their mother died, which is why Miyuki hates her guts. She acted really strange (almost sexual) and quite rude. Not that I can blame her, seeing as that woman seems to have a bad attitude.
What happened though? Tatsuya technically refused her offer and she left. She got ambushed and Tatsuya had to come and save the day (and the artefact and his stepmother). That means that the final battle is finally sight. Tatsuya will have to uncover the artefacts power and fight off a bunch of enemies at the same time. This should prove to be quite interesting.Read More
