I will have to admit that this wasn’t one of the endings I had hoped for, but I guess it’s the best next thing. Am I satisfied? Sure. A good ending for yet another underrated show. If only more people had given this a fair chance.
Nevertheless, I am still not satisfied with the fact that that mercenary was allowed to leave like that. He is alive and well and was even given the right to speak to Archangel Michael when he asked him what he thought of Maria. Of course he’s going to say negative things. But that’s not the point. The point is that he’s still alive after raping Maria, killing his chief and so many others. That insane monk got killed when he approached Michael, but that mercenary will be allowed to live, after which he will probably continue to wage war in order to loot and loot.
I also did not like the idea of Maria becoming human so that she can live her life and have children of her own. The only thing that I liked about that is that Ezekiel got spared and will be reborn as Maria’s child. That part I definitely liked. But the thought of a powerless Maria does not suit me one tiny bit to be honest.
May review may not reflect it, but I really was satisfied with the episode. It was a nice ending to an overall good show. There will always be one or two things that you won’t agree with it in the end, but you know it’s a good show when it ends and you already start wishing for another season of it. I can only hope to see more of this someday…Read More
I suppose this was a really good episode in general. A lot of good things happened and I am pretty sure that more good things are about to happen. That all being said, I cannot help but feel that one or two things did not go as I had hoped.
First thing’s first; that insane mercenary was allowed to leave after all the thing that he had done. He raped Maria, gave her to the church and almost killed the boy that Maria loves. When is it enough? Why is he not being punished for his crimes? I understand that Maria hates violence and will always interfere when war breaks out. But did she really have to be like that when it involved the one guy that took everything from her? The one guy that almost got her killed. It was more than just foolish to let him go with that horrible woman, especially after she acted like a complete idiot.
It goes without saying that this story would’ve gone completely different if it were up to me. It probably would’ve been a horrible story, but I would’ve had that guy die a hundred times over. I would’ve removed a limb during every episode. His other arm during this week, a leg next week, the other leg the week after that, and so on…
Still, a lot of good came from it. Maria has her power back, she has a boyfriend now and she’s standing face to face with Archangel Michael once more. I doubt they’re going to fight again, but something tells me that Maria is going to be victorious if they were to find one another. I don’t know why. All that’s left now is to see what kind of happy end we’ll get to see.Read More
I am really happy that Maria has made all of those friends recently. She may not have her powers back, but she has friends that are willing to support and help her now that she needs it. That just goes to show that she doesn’t stand alone, at least.
So Maria was supposed to die at the stake for being a witch. They were planning on burning her even though she saved their lives many times over. It makes you wonder why she even wanted to help them. The war has started once again and things are getting out of hand. Many people are dying and many properties are being destroyed now that Maria isn’t around to prevent them from going to war. People must’ve realized this by now, so why support the church when they are so useless instead of supporting Maria, whom has been stopping one war after the other all this time? It’s so stupid.
I also thought that that English witch was quite right when saying that the angels and that their creative is wrong. They do now know love because love if something that humans created. It’s something that defines humanity, so it is only natural that the heavens don’t understand it. She definitely won that argument, even though she nearly got killed.
What now? As Maria going to get her powers back? Is she going to fight the heavens again? There are, if I am correct, two episodes left so a lot can still happen, but I suspect that that mysterious entity is going to involve itself with Maria soon. Why else approach Maria regularly like that? It obviously has plans for Maria.Read More
I hate this episode. I absolutely hate every single thing about this god-awful episode. It should never have been created and it should never have aired. It is an insult to all fans and certainly an insult to me. What a terrible way to start my week…
I’ll get straight to it; Maria got raped. The girl that knew very little about sex and decided to stay pure in order to be able to help other people was raped by the man she helped save more than once. He hit her, he beat her around, he tied her up and he raped her without even thinking about it. He was merciless and her first time was stolen by a scumbag like him. Now she’s left behind powerless and the only thing she has in her life right now are her familiars and the witches that decided to support her in whatever way they possibly can.
I don’t even care about Archangel Michael anymore. I just want that guy to suffer badly before he dies. No excuses and no exceptions because he’s befriended with that boy. He needs to die a horribly painful death for what he has done to Maria. I can only hope that it happens next week, because I’ll be damned if he were to get rewarded for what he did.
And Maria? She’s powerlessly imprisoned in some dungeon where that bishop can do whatever the hell he wants with her. I am not even going to tell you how insane that guy is. It’s a waste of time. I just hope that Maria and/or her friends find a way for her to get her power back soon. A lot of people need to be punished for what happened.Read More
I am truly exhausted. I don’t even want to write this post to be very honest. Still, I think this show is worth a post even if it’s going to be short this time, although the episode definitely deserves a big post if you ask me.
So Maria got attacked by Ezekiel and is now recovering. The word has spread far and wide and people now know that they can go to war without having to worry about outside interference. This will mean a lot more casualties and a lot more conflict. The question is if England will actually survive at the end of the day now that they don’t have Maria to stop them from going to war.
The church has worked so hard to get rid of Maria. Now they got what they wanted. I’ll be looking forward to seeing them crawl back to Maria at the end of the day. And is it just me or have those people been poisoned somehow. People are slowly becoming more and more obsessed with the church and are starting to think negatively of Maria. I wonder what’s that about?Read More
So something bad did end up happening, but I’m just glad it wasn’t the worst-case scenario. It would’ve been very weird if Maria, the single most important character on the show, whose name is in the title, were to die during this episode.
So Ezekiel turned into a spear-like thing and charged towards Maria as soon as she started chanting a spell in order to try and stop yet another war. Ezekiel, although not completely in control, decided to avoid a fatal wound by missing on purpose. This had not gone unnoticed. The fact that Archangel Michael noticed that she did it on purpose surprised me most of all. I mean, Ezekiel was not punished for her actions even though Archangel Michael’s orders are supposedly absolute. All known characters simply live to see another day.
There’s really only one character that I would like to see dead; that annoying bishop. He has lost his tiny little mind over this whole Maria affair. I know that those “holy men” are eager to spill blood when their religion or position of power are questioned, but this is ridiculous. Just because Maria is starting to become more and more popular…
Anyway, Maria survived and she doesn’t seem to want to want to stop meddling in those wars. This means that she will need to find a way to continue using her magic without being speared to death by Ezekiel. She either needs to make powerful allies or find a new source of power that will allow her to defend herself against Archangel Michael.Read More
This had to happen eventually. Doubt that Maria would continue using her magic and still get away with it just because that pipsqueak didn’t actually see her do it. Those angels may be bound by certain rules, but that does not make them powerless or stupid when you find a loophole.
What annoys me most is how that bishop continues to manipulate people into doing whatever he wants. That’s the way it goes with any religion. People think that they are “divine” because they have been touched by god and can receive divine messages. But anyway, I would’ve been fine with it if his intentions were somewhat noble. They are not in this case. He is doing everything in his power to make sure that Maria either loses her power or gets killed by someone or something so that there can be war without Maria’s constant interference. In his mind it’s “god’s will” that wants people to die a pointless death.
His subordinate has already started to notice how unstable that man is. He loses his temper quite easily and his motives are questionable at best. How long will it take for people to stop listening to him and start taking Maria’s side? I would mind watching an episode where a small army of people sided with Maria in the battle against the church and the heavens.
But anyway, good times are about to end from the looks of it. They are finally about to strike. That bishop has set a plan in motion and the Archangel has given Ezekiel the order to kill Maria if she ever used Magic again to interfere, whether she actually sees her doing it or not. That means that Maria is about to gain either another enemy or an ally that ended up choosing her side after all.Read More
I think I am finally starting to understand the point of this story. Rather, I think I know where they are going with this why we even got to this point. Even that scene with Maria’s naked backside was well appreciated in my humble opinion.
So the heavens decided to monitor Maria’s actions. The church has decided to monitor Maria’s actions. Both those parties decided to interfere in order to try and stop Maria from meddling in other people’s affairs. I honestly don’t think it’s because they genuinely think that Maria’s actions are wrong. It is my guess that they are worried about how people will think of Maria. Both the church and the heavens are worried that the people will come to love Maria more than them, after which they will probably lose quite a bit of their power and/or influence. That has to be it…
The heavens just sent down an Archangel to deal with Maria. Very straightforward. But the church is doing it very differently. They are using people, like churches always do, in order to draw out Maria in order to try and distort people’s image of he. It is low and it is doomed to fail in the end, but that won’t stop them from trying.
Still, Maria didn’t interfere with that fight. The church failed this time and they are bound to try again soon. Maria did not interfere and so people did not lose money on their bets because of her. Her reputation remained unchanged this time. I can only hope that Maria soon realizes that people are plotting against her before it is too late.Read More
