It has been insanely busy. I can’t wait till it’s all over in a couple of days’ time. This episode didn’t really help much either, no matter how amusing it was. This is obviously not the end. There’s another season coming otherwise it won’t make any sense.
There is no news about a third season yet. We all know it is coming. You cannot end it with Yu-kun changing into the “salt king” and have him defeat his friend’s little sister, which was a very nice and interesting twist, as an ending to the entire animated series. That would be completely unacceptable if you ask me.
The truth is; I’m a little nervous. Normally I’d be a hundred percent sure. But that last beach scene has got me worried. A group of humans, a “salt king” and a vampire living together happily ever after? No way. There are still many holes in the story that need to be filled and I think it would take at least another season to get that job done.Read More
I suppose that this has just gotten interesting. We all know that more is coming. They cannot end this story with this. I haven’t followed the manga so I have no idea how many arcs there are after this, but they cannot end this next week.
That all being said; will there be a second season? Highly likely. The series are highly popular globally and I am sure that this this will sell just as good. The more sales the higher the chances of a third season being animated. The chances are already high since they cannot end this properly so it’s basically a sure thing if this sells well.
There is only one thing that I want to see about this episode; I want everyone to continue disobeying. Stop listening to that power-hungry psycho and just take him down already. He may be strong but surely he can’t be strong enough to beat everyone. Also, that interesting twist about Guren having two personalities is quite interesting. All the more reason for me to be excited about the next episode.Read More
The biggest Seraph of the End event this week was definitely Funimation’s screw up by releasing an episode with improper audio. Having an uneventful episode is one this was just not worth the wait in my opinion.
Almost the entire episode was dedicated to the reunion between Yuuichirou and Mikaela. All they did was talk and exchange info that we already knew. We learned very little during this week’s episode. Maybe only that the humans’ new weapon might just be another ‘family’ member of theirs.
Oh, yeah, and Mikaela has become a true vampire by sucking Yuu-kun’s blood. I find that concept vague. He was a vampire to begin with. He was drinking the blood of his vampire queen and already had an immortal body. What’s different (other than the colour of his eyes)? The urge to drink blood? That’s always been there since he changed. Really… An entire episode just for that?Read More
I just don’t understand this episode. Honestly… I dare call it a waste of time to be honest. We were given a glimpse of what we can expect to see in the future, but that’s all there was to it. The rest can be ignored to be honest.
I’m talking about the fact that Yuu-kun nearly died in order to gain strength. He used that to go try and save his commander from the clutches of those vampires. Or should I say fangs? So yeah, at that point I get pretty excited and expected to see quite a battle. I didn’t really care of Yuu-kun was successful or not, but I wanted to see what he was capable of.
Some will surely argue that he tried his best. I think he didn’t try enough. His friends came in shortly after and took him away before he could give it his all. He got himself a little horn and got even stronger in order to try again. Would it really be so bad if they let him try? I basically just got my hopes up for nothing.Read More
Another slow-paced episode. I thought for sure that at least one of those powerful vampires would’ve gotten killed or captured, but no… Yu-chan ended up experiencing a huge loss and then some. What a shocker…
I think that it goes without saying that we can expect at least a third season. They won’t be able to come up with a decent ending after all that’s happened in just a few weeks’ time. Not going to happen. I haven’t read the manga and I don’t know how many arcs there are, but we have entered a point in the story where you cannot create a plausible ending. It’s like we have received the halfway mark and still have two more season to go. I certainly wouldn’t mind watching two more season of this, especially if the pace doesn’t pick up soon.
I don’t even know why that captain of theirs managed to get himself captured by that vampire noble. He knew from the very start that it was a trap. Even that monstrous commander ended up betraying his own younger brother and father in order to gain power. That guy might very well be more dangerous than any of those vampires.
It was quite an eventful episode, I guess, but I cannot accept that Yu-chan ended up chugging two more of those pills and that they just ended it with the impression of his death even though we all know he’ll make it. The wait will be incredibly painful. I want to know what happens next. I want to know if Yu-chan loses control again.Read More
A highly uneventful episode no matter what people say. The pace has slowed down again I think. I wish things would just pick up. I’d say that next week’s episode looks very promising, but I have been disappointed before…
We knew that they were walking into an ambush and we also knew that they were going to save their comrades before they decided. That was pretty much set in stone last week. That is why I cannot understand why it took almost half an episode for the first shot to be fired. I dare say that they tried to fill the episode up a bit.
What also bothered me is that it took another five or six minutes before they actually rushed in and the battle started. At that point the episode was already 75% over. I can only hope that next week’s episode, where Yuu-kun supposedly fights against that vampire noble, will be a lot better than this one and contains a lot less idling around.Read More
I fired up this episode and just as soon as I finished there was only one word that came to mind; “duh”. This episode was unneeded. You could’ve skipped this episode and not have missed a single thing. What a shame…
I don’t care if there was very little action. I don’t care about that at all. What I do care about is that they don’t keep pointing out the obvious. I don’t need that vampire noble to tell me that there’s one of them that’s giving the humans all sorts of information. I kind of already knew that a few weeks ago when they made that very clear.
The best part of the episode was near the end where the vampires decided to ‘take care’ of the humans that were protecting the area. A nice amount of drama and action to end an otherwise disappointing episode. Next week’s episode should be quite eventful as the lieutenant and his soldiers are marching towards a big trap with the idea of rescuing their captured comrades. We’ll see…Read More
I don’t know if I should be happy with this episode or disappointed. There’s still nothing new even though the ‘war’ has pretty much started. But yeah, I still don’t know what to think of this season just yet.
I say this because even though Yuuichirou and his friends managed to successfully kill a vampire noble without one of them even getting hurt, I still feel as though we still haven’t seen a thing. There are many vampire nobles out there. I just thought that since they were up against strong opponents that we’d get to see some of their new abilities.
But no, they actually slayed one of those nobles, even though they were with over a dozen of them, without even getting serious. The snipers actually did more than anyone else. Is it really so much to ask to get to see Yuu-kun go wild again? I loved the action and all, but I just want to see something new. I have been waiting for quite a while now…Read More
