Ao Haru Ride episode 12
Alright. This post will be kept short, this will be kept simple and this will be kept honest. I do not think that Ao Haru Ride turned out to be a bad watch. There were plenty of times were I truly enjoyed watching it. That being said, I still think that Zankyou no Terror, which turned out to be wonderful from start to finish, would’ve been a much better pick for me.
Anyway, Futaba-chan did it. She finally succeeded in breaking down that invisible wall and forced Kou to act his age a bit more. He was so angry and so scared all the time, apparently. Futaba seems to have fixed all that. Does she not realize that she has a hold over him? Dammit Futaba… Just do what most women do; try to dominate and control the living crap out of him.
Kou is slowly becoming more and more sociable with everyone. Nevertheless, was there any progress at the end? Not really. All we really got during these past twelve weeks were hugs and teenage drama. In the end it didn’t really meet my expectations. I would’ve thought that Kou would’ve asked Futaba out by now, but no… A pretty mediocre ending for an overall overrated, yet amusing show.
