Ao Haru Ride
Ao Haru Ride… Yes… Yes… Even I caught wind of the hype surrounding Ao Haru Ride. At least it turned out to be one of those shows that somewhat lived up to it. I quite enjoyed the first episode and will continue to enjoy it if the remaining eleven episodes are just like the first.
I honestly wouldn’t change anything about the artwork. The characters look so simple and a bit plain, yet I am positive that I could pick them out of a hundred character line-up. I definitely like what I saw here. Yep.
I also quite like the story. It’s interesting and it shows a great deal of promise. The only thing that I’m worried about is that this is going to turn out to be one of those dead-end romances where nothing ever happens. That would be terribly disappointing.
I am going to carefully recommend this to romance fans. I am still slightly worried, but I am positive that this could be one of those rare shows where the main characters actually fall in love and end up together. We’ll see…
