Bakuman 3 episode 02
Okay, here we go again with the Bakuman posts. How could I possibly leave this one alone? The only thing I disliked so far was the manga’s ending, but the rest is absolutely perfect. Even Aiko’s desperate attitude towards anyone that compliments her on her looks or skills, but I will come back to that later.
The third season has begun and we picked up right where we left off; with Moritaka and Akito’s latest project, Perfect Crime Party (or PCP for short). It’s not just them either. Everyone’s manga is hitting the spot. But anyway, Moritaka and Akito are going to get busy from now on. Their latest work has a nasty condition attached to it. You see, their manga has to be number one. It has to surpass both Natural+ and Crow for it to be accepted; otherwise the chief will just cancel it again. It’s a rough condition alright, but not entirely unreasonable. Moritaka and Akito brought this on themselves by being so pushy, so now they will have to deal with the consequences.
Let’s focus a bit on Aiko and Eiji, shall we? Both of them are working on Natural+, which makes them partners. Eiji respects her talent for coming up with great stories and he made that very clear too, which is probably what caused for Aiko to fall in love with him. Hell, I don’t want to call it love. It’s a stupid little school girl crush, caused by a mere compliment.
It’s going to be very busy in Bakuman, that’s for sure. Moritaka and Akito will have to work extra hard on their new project, Akira has to find a way to help his young artists, Aiko and Eiji are working hard on Natural+ and Crow, and Aiko and Eiji’s editors will have to find a way to keep their relationship stable.
