Bakuman 3 episode 05

Good stuff, really good stuff indeed. It’s hard to believe that it’s about to get even better soon. You know, I have always wondered why Kazuya still listens to his editor. It can’t just be because he’s easily manipulated. Not even because he’s foolishly in love with a very strange woman, a women that doesn’t usually turn around to look at men.

Now, I don’t like the idea of Akito doing the story for Shun’s manga, Rabuta & Peace. Don’t get me wrong here, I like Shun. He’s an interesting character. Hell, I’m kind of jealous of his personality. I always wanted to be a bit more like him. I always wanted a passion of some sort, something to look forward to and work hard for. That’s why it came as no surprise to me when I first found out that his manga had been accepted by Shonen Jack. It’s not serialized yet, and Shun can’t do it on his own yet either, but these things take time. Give the boy a chance, get his parents of his back and let him get some experience by giving him some time.

Now, Moritaka is very eager to start on something new. His target, marrying Miho-chan, is still his number one priority. That is why he has decided to make something new, something that is likely to get animated sooner or later. It’s still hard to believe that Shun ended up helping him instead by showing him a faster way to finish drawing. Bakuman never seizes to amaze.

I can hardly wait till next week. It’s not like I can re-read the manga. It would do me no good. Besides, I still don’t like the way things ended. I just want to see what they’re going to do next. I read the manga, but I read it as fast as I could. I wanted to leave a few surprises for myself when watching the third season.
