Bakuman 3 episode 21

I finally found out why Bakuman has such irregular releases. The only subgroup, Sage, exists out of a few fans that sub these shows for fun. A few of those guys don’t like Bakuman, even though Sage funsubbed the previous seasons, too. It’s a very strange story, but okay…

They were approached by a man that came to that event for the sole reason of meeting them, hoping they were interesting in an anime adaption of Reversi, not knowing that Moritaka and Akito created that manga for the sole purpose of getting animated.

It was strange that Moritaka stayed calm (as though an anime adaption is years away). Strange, but very understandable. I guess he’s done with getting his hopes up for no reason, only to be disappointed later. I guess he really has grown since he first started out with Akito. And yes, I really just noticed that during this episode. I always thought he stayed somewhat the same immature guy.

[sage]_Bakuman_S3_-_21_[720p][D4279C8F].mkv_snapshot_19.29_[2013.02.27_22.53.39]It’s come down to a battle between Eiji’s Zombie Gun and their Reversi, even though we all know that Reversi is going to win. There are only five episodes left and the end is rapidly nearing. They don’t have time to create another race between those three without letting Moritaka and Akito win for once. Reversi wins this time, end of story.

I also fear that the anime is going to follow in the manga’s footsteps; it’s going to suck like hell if it is. It’s like they focussed all of their attention on Moritaka and Akito’s road to have their work animated, and used up the remaining time to create some kind of ending. It was very, very disappointing. I’m pretty sure that the third season is going to drop like hell if that actually happens in the anime.
