Barakamon episode 03

Now this is impressive; the ratings for Barakamon just keeps rising. Last week it was the same story. It rose by a firm 0.4 averagely and this week by another 0.6 averagely. More and more people must be realizing how promising this show is.

[HorribleSubs] Barakamon - 03 [720p].mkv_snapshot_07.20_[2014.07.22_22.24.09]What the hell happened to Naru-chan? The opening was insane. The face on that kid was so disturbing that it was impossible for me to contain my laughter. Seeing her rant about how good she can ready nowadays and mumble the word “Mandom” didn’t help at all. It was too hilarious. Can we expect something like this during the start of every episode from now on?

Seishuu seems to be settling quite alright. He has gotten accustomed to country style living and the people that live in that hick town. It seems that he even got used to people constantly trying to invade his own little kingdom. It makes me wonder how. I don’t think I could ever get used to something like that. I probably would’ve bought a gun on the second day.

[HorribleSubs] Barakamon - 03 [720p].mkv_snapshot_12.20_[2014.07.22_22.24.18]I also learned something new about hick life in Japan. Of course, I can’t say for sure if this is a regular thing of or it’s just a tradition in the messed up world of Barakamon, but that whole Mochi-picking thing was quite amusing. People get a house or a boat and suddenly the whole village get showered with goodies? Not bad… Not bad at all…

I think I can see where this is going. Seishuu was furious when he heard he lost to someone that had just started writing recently. I understand how that could make a person feel pretty bad and angry. You study and work hard most of your life in order to get to the top, only to be overtaken by some cocky newbie. Yeah, that has got to hurt. Still, Seishuu’s anger attacks are getting far better ever since he arrived in that village. I like where this is going.
