Boku no Imouto wa “Osaka Okan”

Well, this certainly turned out disappointing. I don’t understand it… It started out pretty good. The younger sister made fun of the older brother’s love life, so I thought that it was going to be ‘that’ kind of show. Too bad it wasn’t.

Boku no Imouto wa Osaka OkanThe artwork is nothing special. In fact, it’s pretty heavy on the eyes at one point. Namika (love that name), looks absolutely adorable, but the rest just doesn’t measure up, which is a shame. This could’ve been really good.

Unfortunately, the story isn’t that much better. It started out good, but the rest was absolutely dreadful. It started with the younger sister’s comment about the older brother not getting laid or whatnot, but then it suddenly turned to some informative nonsense. What the hell?

Sorry, but I couldn’t possibly recommend this to anyone. Sure, it’s only a few minutes per episodes, but it’s still a waste of time, unless you actually like getting thought about a few Japanese facts (that you probably already knew to begin with).

Plot Summary: Kyousuke’s younger sister Namika has been living apart from him for ten years. One day, she returns and begins to live with him again, but she has turned into an energetic tsundere Osaka girl.
