Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai episode 02
Okay, so I just finished writing the overall review before I published this very post. I had to. I just had to write about this particular anime. I already knew I was going to before it even aired. Mind you, that doesn’t say anything about the anime itself. I’m only doing it because I’m a big fan of ecchi comedies. The anime could have turned out to be a disaster for all I knew.
Moving on! A young, hot and feisty Death Reaper shows up in front of Ryosuke and pierces his chest with some kind of magical dagger. That happened during last week’s episode, and yet we’ve already arrived at a point where two are fighting side by side against dreadful foes. Quite the fast-paced story, isn’t it? I can clearly remember that Ryosuke was below average when it came to providing energy. The only reason he’s become so valuable is because he can provide it multiple times a day, instead of once every day or two. My god, even his ability sounds perverted, especially when described like that. He truly is the new king of perverts.
This episode focussed on Lisara’s quest to find that special ‘specimen’ to contract with, not knowing that she had already found him. It actually turned out to be a trap set by her cousin. Such a stupid girl if you ask me. She planned on luring Lisara into her trap by making up stories about a special human with a huge amount of energy, when in reality she actually allowed for Lisara to meet with Ryosuke. Talk about digging one’s own grave, how foolish. I couldn’t help but laugh a little bit when Lisara defeated her with the help of Ryosuke’s perverted energy.
I bet that things will become a bit more complicated with Mina involved. Maybe it’s for the best. Mina is Ryosuke’s childhood friend, also quite possibly the only girl that gets near him out of free will. Can it be? Are we really about to embark upon a human-pervert-demon love triangle? That would be great. It fits the story perfectly if you ask me.
Finally, I would like to end this post by saying that I have high hopes for this anime. However, I don’t think this anime would do well for more than thirteen episodes. It’s not the type of anime that you could drag on for long periods of time without the ratings going down.
