Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge episode 11
Oh, quite the cunning episode if you ask me. I have very little idea of what they were trying to accomplish with this episode, but it was certainly very amusing. I do wish they would stop with all those annoying scenes where characters suddenly get al ‘sexual’ when there’s nothing going on.
So they decided to focus a bit more on Emily, huh? I’m okay with that. It was nice to see how she got to where she is today. Sadly, not much changed. She grew up in the streets, she had no friends and she fought to get food. That’s when that man came to get her, a man that got her off of the streets and turned her into a killer. You’d think that he wanted to do the right thing by giving a little girl a warm home (not unlike your average paedophile) and some new clothes. The image of a kind-hearted man was instantly shattered when he introduced her to her Killing Goods.
It’s quite disappointing that they didn’t focus a bit more on that man. He’s a complete mystery right now. It seems that he, too, is somehow linked to Iwai. Perhaps Iwai was picked up by him as well when she was younger. It’s all very much possible at this point. In fact, anything is possible in Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge right now.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens next. Will Kiri get defeated again? Or will he somehow obtain his ancestor’s powers all of a sudden? I hope it’s not the latter, I hate it when things like that happen. There’s nothing more boring than a sudden power boost. Things like that need to be built up if you ask me.
