Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge episode 13
So the anime from this spring are ending again, huh? I have my doubts about some of them, but I’m generally glad by how Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge ended. The cliff-hanger was pretty good and there was an amusing little twist at the end. It’s funny how this show gets another season and other shows, better shows, don’t.
It was kind of hard to accept that Emily, after all that Kiri and Iwai went through, joined the family as though nothing had ever happened. She, although still scared of Kiri and his messed up abilities, accepted Iwai right away and started treating her as though she was a sister whom she has known since birth. It was a strange turn of events and I’m sure not everyone can agree with what happened.
The hardest thing to accept is that it ended with them taking a bath. I’m sure all die-hard perverts out there loved the sight of two loli’s bathing together, but I rather would’ve seen something else, something more exciting and interesting. The story did not get any better from having seen that scene, not one bit.
I’m just glad it ended with Kiri. We can all expect that sex will once again play a significant role in the next season, so prepare yourself. I’m kind of getting my head around the fact that Violet approached Kiri in the hospital. She is obviously an enemy of his and she actually admitted that Emily, like several others, was a man-made murderer. She doesn’t carry the blood of a famous murderer, she was simply trained to become one. That in itself was hard to take in, although it wasn’t that unexpected, but then Violet actually had the audacity to steal Kiri’s first kiss. Things suddenly became a lot more complicated. It makes you wonder about what’ll happen in season two, even though the show in itself wasn’t anything special. Either way; thank you for giving us a decent ending!
