Engaged to the Unidentified episode 05

Well this was quite the big surprise. It is quite obvious that they forgot to add supernatural to the list of genres on pretty much all of the anime-related websites. This episode has really changed the story dramatically. Last week’s episode raised a lot of questions but this one changed everything.

[Underwater] Mikakunin de Shinkoukei - Engaged to the Unidentified - 05 (720p) [68AC3599].mkv_snapshot_01.20_[2014.02.07_23.24.10]A lot has happened during these twenty wonderful minutes. Things that changed the story and makes you wonder what the hell you’ve been watching until now. That’s quite drastic, right? That being said, why is it that the sight of Mashiro-chan in that cat outfit is the only thing on my mind? That was absolutely adorable and funny! I definitely want to see more of that!

I also couldn’t help but notice that the situation had changed even before we were officially introduced to the supernatural element. Kobeni was really interested in both Mashiro and Hakuya. She started asking questions that none of them wanted to answer. It’s a good thing Kobeni isn’t really as bright as you might think.

This character, not much taller than Mashiro, shows up and everything just changes. This woman, a loli mother (yes, those exist), starts talking about how she, Mashiro and Hakuya aren’t human and how Hakuya sacrificed half of his power in order to save Kobeni’s life. She would not shut up. Never mind the fact that Kokebi was suddenly introduced to a fiancé that she couldn’t even remember. Now we have to deal with a supernatural creature that sacrificed half of his power to save her life. This thing just got a whole lot better!
