Engaged to the Unidentified episode 08
Another Engaged to the Unidentified episode that focussed completely on the supernatural… Still, I’m seeing a light at the end of the supernatural tunnel. A little glimmer of hope that tells me that the romance genre is picking up again soon.
So we’ve established that there are more supernatural beings at the school. Mashiro-chan and Hakuya-kun weren’t the only ones. They don’t know the person in question and none of us know what she, Konoha, is actually capable of or if those supernatural beings all of their own unique skills or if it’s all pretty much the same. I know that I keep going on about how the supernatural element of the show has completely taken over, but if I think about it there’s really very little that we know about Hakuya or Mashiro. What are their abilities? Are they the same? When can they use those abilities? Is there some sort of limit or condition that has to be met beforehand? Who knows?
I must honestly say that I’m a little annoyed by Benio. Just a little. I hate the type of person that wants to know everything about everyone. I’m sure that she has plenty of secrets of her own, so why is it that she must know everything that’s going on? Is it that she’s naturally nosey or is there something else going on that worries her? It makes me thing that there’s something else she hasn’t told Kobeni about the Mitsumine family.
Anyway, my little glimmer of hope is the same thing that got me down. Konoha-chan has become that glimmer by openly asking for Hakuya’s hand in marriage. Kobeni overheard that and now I’m sure she’s going to think long and hard about how she feels about Hakuya and if being together with him is worth fighting for. Don’t let me down, hope!
