Engaged to the Unidentified episode 11
All hope is lost here. There is no doubt in my mind that the ending is going to be mediocre at best. The Japanese are well-known for their strange and disappointing endings. It’s really too bad that Engaged to the Unidentified might end with a lot of unanswered questions.
My biggest worry is still Benio. She has been a thorn in Hakuya’s side ever since Kobeni started looking at him as serious husband material. Benio is being really sad, jealous and spiteful because she doesn’t have anyone. The only one she has is a strange blonde girl that follows her around as though she has honey on her ass.
I thought things were going to get a bit interested when Mashiro-chan was almost caught doing something supernatural by that nosey news reporter-wannabe. It’s a shame that they’re probably not going to do anything with that. It might’ve been an interesting angle to end things, but no… It was just to spice up the comedy.
The one thing that annoys me the most is that Hakuya and Kobeni are almost never alone. Mashiro is always with them when they go out together and it usually ends quite badly. This week was no exception. Mashiro still went with them and Kobeni found yet another new piece of information that managed to bring her down completely. So what if Hakuya got a scar after he saved her life? He likes her and she likes him, they’re both still alive and they can still live their lives like they want to… What is the problem here? Stop b*tching about every single thing and just give us a proper ending, dammit!
