GJ-bu

Oh god, I’m really not good with shows like these. I find that, when watching these shows, it’s easy to get bored in the middle of it. There amusing scenes, but it takes time to build up to those, which is why I get bored sometimes.

GJ-buThe artwork is not the problem. I like the characters, I like the surroundings and I like the character expressions. In fact, the artwork is better than I had expected when I read about this four-panel comedy. It’s not bad.

I was I could say the same thing for the story. What is it about? Are we going to follow these characters for the next twelve episodes as we watch them interact with one another? Is that what the story is all about? Sure, it’ll be fun for the first two or three episodes, but we need a little bit more after that. That’s why I usually don’t watch these things. It’s hard to come up with a good story, although there are some exceptions amongst them (Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Special A, etc…)!

I’ll only recommend this to school life comedy fans. I also detected a slight hint of romance, but it’s not enough for me to recommend it to romance fans as well. It’ll be very interesting to see how this one will turn out.

Plot Summary: TV anime adaptation of the GJ-bu moe light novel series, dubbed as the “first four-panel novel”, where each story is only four pages long with illustrations.
