Gundam Build Fighters

Uhmm… No. I’m kind of disappointed by this one. They took something that was awesome and interesting and turned it into some kind of childish cliché. What a damn disappointment. I had expected a lot more from Gundam-related anime.

Gundam Build FightersThe artwork isn’t really the problem. It’s not impressive and it’s definitely not great. They even used quite a lot of scenes from older Gundam shows, which is something that I despise. You can’t devaluate Gundam Wing like that, man.

The story is just not there. It’s like a bad mixture between the Gundam series and the Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Do I really want to watch kids play with their miniature Gundam toys? Thanks, but no thanks.

I cannot recommend this. You might be bitterly disappointed if you are Gundam fan. I know I was. I cannot watch this with a smile on my face as a lot of other Gundam series get mocked by this disaster they call a show.

Plot Summary: The story is set in the near future when GunPla Battles, competitions that pit Gundam plastic models against each other, have become popular worldwide in the “Second GunPla Boom.” Sei Iori, a first-year middle-school student and the only son of a model shop owner, is talented at building GunPla, but inexperienced in the GunPla Battles. He encounters a mysterious boy named Reiji, who happens to be an accomplished Gundam Fighter. Together, they strive for the GunPla Battle world championships.

  1. Its not that bad actually

Yes its more for kids I think but when those robots are actually big the fights are pretty cool to watch.
