I honestly don’t understand the Haikyuu!! hype that’s been going ‘round. I’ve seen the first episode and I have no idea what’s so special about it. It was a good watch and it definitely was interesting, but by no means would I give this show an eight.
The story is not all that exceptional. It’s just another sports-genre anime about a group of boys trying to become the best. This time around we’ll be watching volleyball. All I hope is that it stays “normal” instead of watching all those characters pull of supernatural moves.
Do I recommend this? Sure, to sports-genre fans. It amused me and I’m quite interested in seeing the rest, so why not?
Plot Summary: A chance event triggered Shouyou Hinata’s love for volleyball.
