Hajime no Ippo: Rising episode 16
Jesus… Not this again. Enough with the fishing! It ends here! I love the comedy in Hajime no Ippo more than I do regular comedy anime, but it gets rather annoying after four weeks. It’s time to return to their world of action.
Yes… This must’ve been the last episode where the comedy kills your stomach. I can’t take it anymore. That scene where they showed Tatsuya and Masaru’s opponents was a sure-kill scene. I laughed so hard that my sides started hurting. I had to pause the episode because I was missing too much.
I’m just glad that both Tatsuya and Masaru as still hanging in there. They are both senior boxers and both of them have an average boxing career. I don’t think either one of them has ever won a title of any kind. Of course, title isn’t everything, but I sure think it would be nice if they, too, would win something for once.
Quick question: would you consider me to be a bad person if I told you that I’m actually hoping that they will lose? I think it would be nice if they won a title for once, but to see those two with strange haircuts would be absolutely hilarious. I wouldn’t mind sacrificing another action-filled episode to see something like that.
Still, my mind is completely focussed on Mamoru’s match. He will be fighting a very strong champion soon. It seems that he is Brian Hawk’s friend and is coming to fight Mamoru to find out first-hand how strong Mamoru really is. Just think about it; another title match with Mamoru in it… Things are about to get very epic!
