Hajime no Ippo: Rising episode 24
So the third Hajime no Ippo season is going to end with a couple of flashback episodes, is it? That’s fine by me. I honestly don’t care as long as the characters in question are worth the watch. In this case they certainly are.
These past few reviews may have been short, but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy the episodes. On the contrary; I loved them. You could clearly see how the coach cared about his friend, Ginpachi. They’re both old now, but they lived in a time where justice and equality didn’t exist. Old man Ginpachi was the first one to realize that.
Still it was awesome how Genji, everyone’s favourite coach, was a die-hard hard puncher like Ippo. It’s no wonder he took an interest in Ippo when he first saw him fight. They’re both the same. Just charge your opponent head-on and give him whatever you got. Don’t care about the damage you take, just keep landing hits. That is truly an awesome character! Can’t wait to see the next episode (and season).
