I can already tell that I’m probably going to drop this after the third episode or so. This just isn’t my cup of tea. I really don’t care about dancing and the like, but if they could give it a cute turn and make it interesting… Who knows?
I must admit that I really liked Naru, one of the main characters. Her expression were adorable and she seems like an interesting character. Of course, Hana doesn’t fall short. She is your classical case of cuteness overdose.
The story is going to be a bit rough from now on. I fail to understand Naru though. She wants to change herself and do something, after which she approached Hana and asked her to help. Now Naru doesn’t want to anymore… It’s a very strange turn of events…
Recommending this is too hard right now as I’m not sure myself if I’m going to continue watching Hanayamata. It all depends on what happens from now on. Just watch the first episode and see for yourself.
Plot Summary: Normal appearance, normal intelligence, normal in arts and sports… just normal. This is the entirely normal 14-year-old, Naru Sekiya. While she admires “Heroines” she continues to live a normal life until one moonlit night she meets a fairy. This foreign girl then guides her into the extraordinary world of the yosakoi dance.
