Hataraku Maou-sama! episode 04

The only problem with this episode is that it was a little bit predictable. Those that have been paying attention knew it would end up this way eventually. The fast pace is the only thing that really surprised me, sadly.

Also, it’s nice to know that she’s not completely human, which would probably make her somewhat of an outcast, even though she’s their hero. Nobody likes the unknown or other people with power, so I’m sure she must have (had) enemies within her country. Isn’t that how things usually work? There’s someone with a lot of power, there are others that want to profit from that, and then there’s the end where those without power try to obtain power (one way or the other).

He went back to being a ‘pathetic’ human. Emi was surprised too, but she was more concerned about why he helped all those humans survive. Not that we can blame her, of course. Sadao took away her father, so she has every right to be mad. That makes me even more curious about how they are going to fall in love. After all, Sadao took away someone very dear to her. It’s going to be though.

Anyway, it’s kind of disappointing that the culprit behind the attacks really was one of Sadao’s old generals. He thought they were all killed when Emi and her forces attacked, but no… He is alive, he is healthy and he has the power to take care of Sadao and Emi. It’s probably going to be one of those you-lost-your-chance-so-now-it’s-my-turn-stories. We’ll see how this goes…
