Hataraku Maou-sama! episode 13

Amazing… Absolutely amazing… This ending was absolutely dreadful. It’s like saving money all your life in order to buy a Ferrari, but only so that you can take a shit on the hood and wipe your ass on the seats. They made a great show and gave it a poor ending…

[FFF] Hataraku Maou-sama! - 13 [5467C06D].mkv_snapshot_04.06_[2013.06.29_23.28.45]Why would anyone start off the final episode with one of Chiho’s messed up dreams? I almost thought that Sadao really was going back to Ente Isla, which probably would’ve made for a better ending I think. I could definitely come to like an ending where he finally travels back to his own world in order to settle things once and for all.

I thought this was supposed to be a romance? I can’t believe I actually thought that Sadao would end up with Emi, what a fool I’ve been. There was almost no romance whatsoever. Sadao’s thick skull made that practically impossible. It has been a one-sided love on Chiho’s part, that’s it. I can hardly call that romantic.

[FFF] Hataraku Maou-sama! - 13 [5467C06D].mkv_snapshot_16.02_[2013.06.29_23.29.53]I also cannot believe that Mitsuki, that annoying shrimp, returned to being that same old freak he was before. Why the hell did that happen? Why the hell did they use the last episode to make him hit on Mayumi, Sadao’s boss? That is by far the last thing that I would’ve like to have seen. I’d rather see Sadao, Shirou and Hanzou all dead than Mitsuki’s happy face.

Things really got ridiculous when, during the last freakin’ episode, they started to focus on some kind of scam deal that Hanzou got involved in. Really? You saved this for the very last episode? Really? Why do I get this urge to march to a local Japanese restaurant in order to put my fist up the employees’ asses? How very disappointing…

  1. I am really hoping for another season of this. Not nearly enough romance here…
