Heavy Object episode 05
Normally I’d be writing this week’s Noragami post for today, but this week’s Heavy Object was so incredibly amusing that I’m more motivated to write about Heavy Object than I am about Noragami. Truly this season’s most underrated show.
So we were somehow led to believe that Milinda, the so-called princess, had to ‘man’ up and take care of that damaged object. Qwenthur and Havia supposedly did their part by trying to blow that object up and have it sink to the bottom of the ocean, but that failed. Instead that thing ended up targeting Milinda’s canons one by one to render her harmless. It seemed to be working wonders when Qwenthur had another one of his moments. I don’t want to want to speak ill of Milinda and her beloved object, but I am kind of hoping that she’ll become a little more useless in the long run.
Allow me to explain that I don’t dislike that character. I like the idea of humans destroying supposedly invincible mechs instead of mechs versus other mechs, which has been done to death. This is different than mechs going against each other, which is why I love it so. That is why I would love to see more of Qwenthur and his insane adventures.
Now, their captain kind of bugs me. She continues to tease the boys by flashing her underwear and then gets mad when they want more. Either give it to them or let them get some elsewhere. It’s war-time. If they are old enough to fight for their country then they are old enough to get their leg over. Stop with the prudish nonsense!
