Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi episode 12

Well, all the summer animes are now nearing their ends, and this one is no exception. I wrote, about a week ago, how I found No.6’s ending really bad, but this one takes the cake, seriously.
This entire anime was one strange ride, from the beginning till the end. The entire concept was farfetched, but they managed to somewhat pull it off, mainly due to the chemistry between characters/voice actors.

During these 12 weeks I often found myself hesitating on watching new episodes right away. I was rarely ‘in the mood’ to watch this. The only reason why I kept watching was because I really liked the character Mirai. I found myself drawn to that cute voice and the general mentality of that character. I am a fan in general of Iori Nomizu, the voice actress that plays Mirai. She was the voice of characters in Sora no Otoshimono and Kore wa Zombie Desu ka, both really fun to watch animes. But I couldn’t bring myself to write about this one, I just couldn’t. I barely managed to gather the willpower to watch it, hoping Mirai was in it a lot.

But the ending is just so bad. The entire anime was about training, getting stronger together to fight off a common enemy. All we really saw was their training, even though the final episode already arrived. The show ended in all the characters visiting a hot spring together, what the hell? That ends this anime with the relationship between Taito, Himea and Haruka still completely unsolved, with Hinata, who we thought was all dead, still alive, with all the mysteries revolving around Yuuichi unanswered and with the enemy of the prophecy still undefeated, AND pretty much unknown. A second season? I hope not, if so; NOT before Usagi Drop or Mayo Chiki, both superior and more popular animes.
