Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
Oh boy… This is not going to be nice. I hated it. I’m sorry. I’m normally okay with fantasy stories, but this one just doesn’t make much sense to me. A world where the birth-rate is dropping, food is very limited and a girl can talk to “fairies”? No, this just wasn’t for me.
The art style is very interesting, I’ll give them that much, but it’s the story that does it for me. I have to admit that the characters look pretty good and that the surroundings look pretty cool. It’s almost like watching a moving picture book.
The story is the problem for me. It just doesn’t make sense, at least not to me. It’s not a matter of uniqueness or originality, which is essentially the same thing, and is also something this anime has plenty of. However, the story requires the viewer to have some sense of imagination. I have that, I do, but not for this sort of story.
I for one don’t recommend this. I am almost completely certain that there are a lot of people out there that like this sort of thing, especially people of the female gender. I believe that this anime is directed more towards girls than boys, but maybe that’s just me. Anyway, fantasy die-hards will definitely like this one.

I became a UN arbitrator between the humans and the fairies and returned to my hometown to help my grandfather. I thought my job would not be a tough one and visited one of the fairies’ habitats to say hello to them but…
