JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 2012
Now this is a true shame! I would’ve loved this anime if it weren’t for the artwork. Frankly, it’s just not my cup of tea, even though it doesn’t look bad at all. It’s strange, because I was pretty fond of the latest Lupin the Third anime, which was not entirely unlike this one.
Unfortunately, I don’t like the artwork. It doesn’t look bad or anything like that, but it’s just not my style. It’s very old school. I bet that there are a lot of people out there that absolutely love the artwork, so it’s a matter of personal preference.
It’s too bad that the artwork is what it is, because it’s a pretty good story. Hell, it’s a damn good story. I would’ve loved to follow this if it weren’t for the artwork. I still might in the (near) future. The story is that good.
I recommend it to those that like a good story. You really have to like this artwork for you to fully appreciate the story, but like I said; it’s a matter of personal preference. Just watch the first episode, at least, because the story is definitely worth it.
Plot Summary: This is the story of the Joestar family, and their battles against bizarre enemies. Jonathan Joestar’s battle against the vampire Dio Brando starts it all, and it continues into roughly each second generation of Joestars through all parts of the story.
