Jormungand episode 04
What a great episode. It showed everything that I wanted to know; where that girl came from and how she came in contact with that psychotic man. I don’t even have to worry about this one, as it simply shows me everything that I want to see, and more.
Chinatsu strikes me as an emotional girl, believe it or not. She has been following that guy faithfully ever since he slaughtered all the people during some sort of opera. She didn’t have anywhere to go, nobody to go to, so she tagged a long after putting a bullet in his shoulder. I know, relationships are a weird thing in Jormungand, especially their particular relationship.
It didn’t take long for Koko and the rest to retaliate using whatever weapons they had at their disposal. It came down to a match between a handgun and a sniper rifle. It is no surprise that that poor bastard got his head blown off by Lutz, Koko’s loyal sniper. I myself am a big fan of the sniper rifle, so that guy will always be one of my favourites.
The battle was not yet over though. Chinatsu was still alive and swore to avenge her “master’s” death, even if it would take her a decade. This made Koko pretty nervous. She was being held in custody whilst the local police department filled (or should I say erased?) in some paperwork. She was brought to her hotel, where the rest of her team was waiting for her, only to stay put and wait for the next few days. You see, she was not allowed to leave for the next few days. This made her a sitting duck, which is why she was really nervous. Who know? It seems that even Koko gets scared sometimes.
Anyway, it took Chinatsu-chan a few days to prepare, and to climb that hotel in order to kill Koko. However, Koko was waiting for her. It seems that Chinatsu arrived just in time, because Koko’s nerves were about to give. It really is too bad to see her die, she was a cute character. A bit messed up, but cute. It would’ve been nice for Johnathan to have a girlfriend.
Believe it or not, but I really do think that it’s a shame that she died. She only came to kill Koko because they killed her master, the last person she had in the world. It’s really tragic when you think about it, but I guess they didn’t have much of a choice, she did try to shoot Koko in the end. My god, I can’t wait to see next week’s episode.
