Jormungand: Perfect Order

Hell yeah! I have been waiting very patiently for the second Jormungand season to arrive! They ended the first season with a huge cliff-hanger, so how could I not? I wanted to read the manga, but I didn’t want to spoil the second season by doing so. I already couldn’t stop myself from reading the Bakuman manga, but this one I left alone.

The artwork is still as great as ever. The characters look good, as always. The weapons are still very detailed and the sceneries look amazing. I am always amazed by how they focus on every little detail. That’s how it should be.

There’s not much I can say about the story, except that I might be better than in the first season. Things are coming to an end, people are being pushed into corners and Koko’s real enemies have finally joined the big picture. It won’t be long now before another war breaks out between weapon merchants and the authorities. I can’t wait for that to happen!

I most certainly recommend this anime. It is filled to the brim with action and drama. All anime fans, even those that usually don’t like too much action, would probably love Jormungand. Be sure to have seen the first season before watching this one though.

Plot Summary: A ruthless arms dealer on a quixotic quest for world peace. A child soldier born into chaotic conflict. Their lives will intertwine as they journey together through the seedy underbelly of the world’s arms market.
