Oh no, I don’t like this. This is the sort of anime one watches when you are bored out of your mind, have a cup of tea with dry biscuits and have absolutely nothing else to watch. Instead, I sat here watching it with a bowl of microwaved popcorn as each bite kept getting worse and worse. Maybe I’ll try again if I ever reach seventy (and still love anime).

The artwork is average. It’s nothing to brag about. I definitely saw a lot of room for improvement, especially the scenery; it’s not very detailed. It sort of reminded me of Ano Natsu de Matteru, only this looks a bit more… out of focus? Still, the artwork is more than just watchable.

The story is the problem here. It’s boring. I mean, did you see those jokes? Good god. It actually looked like it was going somewhere for a brief moment, as one of the characters got naked and the other started making wordplay jokes. I’ll laughed during that scene, I’ll give them that much, but that was it. It was the highlight of the episode. Not much else happened that’s even remotely worth mentioning.

I’m afraid that I can’t recommend this one. Slice of life fans might like it, some might not. It’s the poor level of comedy that’s holding me back from giving this anime a good recommendation. It’s too bad, but there’s not much I can do about it.

Plot Summary: An adaptation of a manga written by the author of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei about group of girls who discuss random things and usually reach an unusual or humorous conclusion that’s far from the initial discussion topic.

  1. People laugh at me when I do not use comedy, sometimes, if you know what I mean. I do not know how that happens, but I enjoy it anyways. It’s just a matter of taste, really. I’ll give this anime a shot.

  2. The problem with this anime is that it is very heavy in japanese culture jokes and references. Which is hard to enjoy for people who don’t know japanese, the language, or the culture.

  3. I like it though
